Now what do we want for Thor? Chariots drawn by goats are so passe now that Freyja is riding a Tomcat. If we think World War II we have the obvious candidates of the P-38 lightning and the P-47 Thunderbolt. If he were in more of a hurry, he could try an A-10 Lightning II and an F-84 Thunderjet. Or if he's more into comfort, a Lockheed Electra?

That only works if you know Swedish. But it's a safe bet there are many warplanes named "Thunderbolt" around the world. Because surely you do not intend "tufted duck". The thought of Thor traveling by duck is just plain silly. But if he does have a duck or two handy, he could stick Thjalfi with riding it. That greedy boy really shouldn't have sucked marrow out of the bone of one of Thor's goats.
