Mou! Now I really have to make a shortlist of fics where Ranma performs some feat or other of learning.
Since you mention Pixelwriter1, I'd like to mention Desperately Seeking Ranma It's long - about a million and a half words - counting the prequels. Pixelwriter1 has also mentioned a friend, Mp3.1415player who has written an even longer fic, this one in the Worm/Parahumans universe owned by wildbow. It's Taylor Varga, currently at just under two million words. Even some of the omakes are novel-length, though you should read some of the main story before reading them. And that bugger is even more prolific than Pixelwriter1.
I've read each of these monsters twice. That takes retirement to free up the time, and weeks to do the reading. They're worth it.
You don't need that much familiarity with Ranma or Worm to read them. It will help immensely, but it's not the horrifying dystopia I'm told the original by Wildbow is. Both Desperately Seeking Ranma and Taylor Varga depart from canon so rapidly that knowledge of the original is most useful as you laugh from seeing it do pratfalls.
