This might be a total coincidence but it also happens to be a relatively low traffic street... Did you know the Ghostbuster's Firehouse was seen in Muppets Take Manhattan?
See the following picture And remember both movies came out in 1984

They might have even had film crews for both movies there at the same time. After all why not get photography for both done at once with the intersection already shut down.

FYI, they actually used 2 fire stations in Ghostusters:

The dinky little firestation (yes, it is a real one) that serves as HQ is 8 Hook and Ladder at 14 North Moore Street, off West Broadway in the Tribeca area. It's hard now to look at a New York firestation without a tinge of sadness and, indeed, 8 Hook and Ladder did lose one of its team in the 9/11 tragedy.

While the New York location was a working firehouse, a decommissioned building was needed for interiors. This was found on the west coast, in downtown Los Angeles.

It‘s Firestation No. 23, 225 East Fifth Street, seen also in The Mask (as the garage where loser Stanley Ipkiss (Jim Carrey) picks up the loan car), in John Carpenter‘s Big Trouble in Little China and Joel Schumacher‘s Flatliners. Built 1910, the station has been closed since the sixties. Be aware that this isn’t the most salubrious area of town.

The second station was copied more than it was used. Both stations were not too far from places that were too noisy to make filming on location practical including police department at 1 and a hospital near the other.

Consider, we know there is a spring of drowned cat. Ranma's normal curse is spring of drowned girl. Taro proved curses can be mixed with his tentacles. The possibility for a hybrid cat girl form is not just possible but there are even plot aspects that would make it interesting to explore, neko-ken, Ghost-cat, Shampoo.

Very nice colors and shading. Everything from the waist up looks great as well but the legs look off...

There are stories that cover this... 'Neko' by Angel Frog comes to mind.
