I did not know you could before, but then, I never used the built in favorites ability except as a test back when first introduced... I determined it would not remotely meet my own needs and left it at that.

Uhm, if you mean in the user controls, above where it says "Favorite stories" and below the box to enter story id to add additional favs, there should be 3 dropdown menu boxes that lets you sort and filter?

I want the ability to put the anime/manga and other ages back in alphabetical order... the idea I would want to *always* see it and navigate it by popularity is stupid.

I'd also like story feeds placed back on the future enhancements list... it was originally there then dropped when they came out with the email update system.

On the font thing. If you click the first ABC group you get the old font back then with the second resizer button that is hard to see you can shrink the font to something reasonable again.

Oh and if you change to dark or light back ground you likely will have to reload the page again otherwise the text will blend in too much to read easily.

Additionally, I notice FanFiction.NET is using some Google Webfonts and Google APIs.

That must be it. If you block Google scripts, like me, then lots of things won't work.
Two days ago I opened a story, and was surprised to find styles missing and all text center-aligned. Investigation revealed that they moved their CSS to ffcdn2012.fictionpressllc.netdna-cdn.com , which I block (by redirecting to localhost) . I had to copy http://ffcdn2012.fictionpressllc.netdna ... s8.min.css to my home server, to make styles it work again. Of course, whatever they change from now on, I won't notice it.
