I don't know how old this banner is, but it dates to at least 2007.

Woah! Is it really eighteen-odd years since I first saw this sticker?

And still just as relevant.

He was not the only one to use that slogan. The Re-class battleship Wreck, originally USS Kentucky (BB-66), slid into office on it. A right popular president, too.

Originally an image I downloaded more than a decade ago, presumably a screenshot of some social network.
My translation from Russian:

2. Is laughing at films with Freddy Krueger
3. Films with Freddy Krueger bring a feeling of tender nostalgia

Occasionally, Tektronix would add an easter egg in the form of a cartoon to a circuit diagram, like this pulse amplifier:

Well, that certainly should get a few more people to pay attention at least. :P

I tried, but the vintagetek site was uncooperative. The home page and the "how to donate" page were okay, but the galleries were empty.

The X-15 Cruise Basselope… a blast from the past, one could say.

Saint Trinian's! I absolutely loved Ronald Searle's cartoons, and used some of them as models when I was learning to draw so long ago!

So, I wandered into a Russian chan dedicated to Gaika (aka Gadtget Hackwrench). Among sillines and bad porn, there were those pearls:

Schoolgirl fetish: http://gaika.ch/g/src/1363443547347.png
Yes, that's a soviet schoolgirl uniform. Still not even close to that pic of Lina Inverse in a red army uniform posing on a pile of badly beaten wermacht soldiers.
P.S. White and frilly is the dress uniform for important events. The everyday apron was black.
P.P.S. Beat that, Japan.

The X-15 Cruise Basselope

Someone forgot to include the cost of the payload into those attractive $6.95
