Thank you for the William Tell Overture. But for weirdness, try this: "Pomp and Circumstance" on the boghorn.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SfJ1TQkKMF8 — Largo from Vivaldi's flute concerto in C minor, RV 443.

I think this piece will not whistle up a storm on you.

Ever been in want of a fancy countdown timer?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kEe7QWjxBxA — A 60-second countdown; no sound.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIbRyyvvfQw — A 90-second countdown timer with BBC-style music.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20Xxfl0pAAQ — A two-minute "24" countdown with "Sandstorm".
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4Ik18QswHo — A three-minute countdown with "Mission Impossible" music.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6UFihc37t0 — A five-minute countdown, BBC-themed.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GaQyjzJkWyc — A 30-minute countdown, also BBC-themed.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lv_7gP2Q-gI — A five-minute countdown to the New Year.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWXrXeUDHvk — A 15-minute countdown to the New Year.

Countdowns for every season, indeed...

https://www.bigissue.com/culture/music/twitter-thinks-keith-richards-is-the-first-man-ever-created-after-a-viral-joke/

The tale: Some scientists at Princeton Uni. had a computer come up with a 3D image of what the Biblical Adam would have looked like. The result looked like Keith Richards from the Rolling Stones.

The organ is centuries old. The music is centuries old. The recordings are only 75 years old.

https://organhistoricalsociety.org/OrganHistory/ — Working copy of J.H. Cook's organ history site.
http://web.archive.org/web/20071028110450/http://faculty.bsc.edu/jhcook/OrgHist/index.html — Wayback copy.

A shortish history of the pipe organ, both by period and by country. There is also a section on the bits and pieces that make up an organ.

There may be a few bits missing; I haven't tested everything.

New-old-fic-time:

https://www.fanfiction.net/s/14341540/1/Chaos-And-Crystal-Tokyo is now on FF.net. The reader probably couldn't be bothered to read it at https://members.tripod.com/master_magi2000/ where it at least has scene breaks.

Hoary old fic time:

http://web.archive.org/web/20070830112359/http://www.fanfic.net/~psyckosama/

This is home to the R/SM crossover "Awkward Consequences".

To quote Drakensis the Red, "Hotaru + Ranma + Alcohol - Family Planning = An excellent story. Do the math."

It's going through a growth spurt; now at thirty-nine chapters... and Xander gets out of Stargate and into Red Dwarf.
