Phew!

At least the "Interstellar, Intrastellar, and Space Travel List" still exists on the Interwebz.

I think this Mina will have trouble with even the shortest VALGOL one-liners.

I have no idea which Crazy Eddie it is. It was in the original data, as I recall.

Yup, a floating world outside of ukiyo-e.

Nah, just based on the parody trope of having any used car salesman using a "Crazy xxx!" naming scheme.

I think the origin(or one of them at least) is this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ml6S2yiuSWE
"There really was a Crazy Eddie. Eddie Antar owned the Crazy Eddie chain. The stores were successful, and made Antar rich, but Eddie (being crazy) wasn't satisfied, so he put together a $145 million stock fraud, and end ended up in federal prison."

Hmm, tried to find a few more examples, but now that i TRIED to find them, i couldn't, even though i've randomly ran into several over the years.

(and very neat pictures!)

A Harry Potter story, close to eight years old. Kinda fun read.

Harry Potter × Avengers. fem!Harry. Hiding as Bruce Banner's cat. Pranks do happen.

Nice find. Though it would have been nice with seeing something from the actual lives there.

Sakurademonalchemist writes well, but she almost never finishes the stories. I can only remember one she finished-with-intent-to-finish, and another where she left hooks for the next chapter, but if she just removed the last sentence, it would have been nicely finished also. Bruja was one of the odd ones -- it could easily continue, and just as easily end where it did. Fun story. I have this memory of having read it before, but it's not in my fanfic files.

If it interests anybody, this page …

… should have a direct view of that runt of an eruption going on in SW-Iceland.

The current video, during nighttime, looks damned amazing.

If the smoke didn't give away the small-ish scale, it would look like a pretty big eruption while you can only see the glowy parts at night.

Geologists say this is the smallest eruption they have seen. More, they announced that very day that the chances of an eruption were falling.

Calling this a ninja-eruption is not out of it. There were no discernible tremors with it. It was first discovered by travellers spotting an orange reflection from an odd direction.

Aside: The link within the bread text goes to a more distant webcam. On that one it is possible to see the reflected glow at night.

That's not true. You only need write permission if you intend to make an entry. If you're only looking, you can get by with read permission.
