Generally speaking, no. Not unless you're worried about higher electric bills. Or the computer's improperly ventilated, or in a room that's too warm, that sort of thing. You could probably get away with leaving it running, and just putting it in sleep/hibernate mode when you're not using it. If it's a desktop PC, you might need to clean the fan periodically.
