*Callista takes a few moments to chew on a croissant sandwich while Curtis checks Wikipedia, then nods after getting the information she needs.*

Ah. Alrighty, then.

And somehow, it cost less than the refurbished laptop that Curtis cheated himself into buying at an auction. >^_^<

It has ways to be disabled. But it can take as much as a week of work getting all of the spying disabled. BTW haven't seen the pages between 34 and here in this thread yet.

((If my political plans hadn't fallen through I might not have been back so soon. I was going to be campaigning with NRA-ILA but between budget, clothing, and scheduling issues and NRA endorsing Trump its a bit hard for me to go along with it.))

Main reason aside from that I wasn't around is because the computer is far from the most reliable. I hope to remedy that but seeing that all my tech became obsolete in the last 2 years. As in too old for OS Support outside of Linux well I can't promise. I'm attending thanks to an obviously dieing Laptop that has Win 7 and fails the minimum requirements for upgrade check for Win 10.

If Curtis's own circumstances weren't starting to get a bit flaky, he'd try to find some way of helping with that. *sigh, shrug* Such is life.

Well thanks to changed circumstance I thankfully now pay rent every other month. My Mom's mobile is completely owned by her and the only rent is on the space. It has helped in getting Tardis parts and there are a few other things I am going to get including intact clothing before working on a replacement computer. I did manage to get an adaptor for USB keyboards so if worse comes to worse and this system dies I can find a cheap cell phone and use a regular keyboard on it for making posts.

Eh, I just can't seem to get used to answering forum posts and writing PMs on my phone. :D

Just curious, but has anyone ever tried a Ranma/Kantai Collection crossover? I'm surprised I haven't really seen one yet, given Kantai Collection and how some are eager to cross Ranma with just about anything. ^_^;; I think it might be interesting to see how Ranma contends with becoming a rather powerful shipgirl. :P

(No, my familiarity with the series only extends to a couple of fanfics, so I wouldn't be able to write it. Not to mention there's at least two or more different realities in Kantai Collection's universe... I was considering trying to draw a shipgirl version of Ranma, though. ^_^;;; )
Still alive, but failing miserably at dodging Real Life.

There's nothing to see there. Nope. It definitely wasn't made into porn.

Okay, I'm curious... I don't want to assume that you'll support someone that's a Republican simply because they're a Republican, so which runner for the presidency are you supporting? I'm still waiting hopelessly for a revolution, so whoever becomes the next figurehead of a corrupt system doesn't change anything as far as I'm concerned.

I'm not going to needlessly worry about such things. Besides, I can always just disable some of that stuff on setup and in some options

That is the reason for the adaptor that lets a real regular keyboard work on micro USB. Sure the screen is ass but at least that lets you still use the whole thing instead of the popup crap that hides more than half of it on most of those phones.

I'd expect someone to have ended up banned and those posts removed if it had. So even if it were that shouldn't still be around to see. So yeah I'll still look at it. Mentioning the number is just so I have it written down where I need to go back to so I can read over it more than anything :D

Considering the only ones on the Democratic field that weren't socialists or insane this round were so unknown they couldn't even start a campaign tour I was hoping for Cruz or Rubio far from perfect but might have at least let things recover instead of going to Revolution/hell quickly.

Don't think I won't forget this flagrant disregard for the rule!

I don't consider a revolution to be the equivalent of a hellish situation. Some medicine tastes bad. Some expressions of love require mental and/or physical trials. Even if things turn sour initially, at least the end result can turn out something far better than what we had. What is truly a road to hell? Being lax and settling for perceived lesser evils. The only difference between an evil and lesser evil is how fast you go to hell; don't expect any brake or reverse features. There's a reason why they even bothered to mention the choice of having a revolution in the declaration of independence, and it wasn't to never exercise the option because it's too scary and/or inconvenient.

Heck, did you even know which delegate to vote for, whom you were absolutely certain would have voted for your preferred candidate? The majority of people don't. If that part of the process isn't broken, then I don't know what is. There was nothing wrong with direct democracy on that level, yet just about everyone just accepts and perpetuates this nonsense. And that doesn't even begin to address what's wrong with the government on any level.

I researched the more than 100 names up on both the Democrat and Republican lists of people who applied to the Federal Elections committee for this year and those two, Rubio and Cruz, were the ones I thought were actually good instead of a lesser evil. Not great no miracle savior or paragon of American or Constitutional virtues just simply good.
