I think I have a pretty good idea what they were: fifteen men on a dead 'cent's chest, a yo-ho-ho and a bottle of rum.

We were. That's what happens to my death crystals when their batteries run out of power.

Its hardly the batteries fault. The way Amber and myself use crystals its more like they fully charge by being connected to the power source of being alive. No battery lasts forever once cut off from any chance of recharge.

1: My death crystal only has around... fifteen minutes or so of life on average. Longer if it stays the size of an average gemstone while waiting to give someone a menu, but since most Spamville residents are greedy little schmucks that typically doesn't happen. Immediately after the crystal disintegrates, I get regenerated back at my flagship.

2: On one occasion I had two deaths three hours apart. The second crystal that spawned only had a 40% charge.

((OOC: My online time might be somewhat sporadic. My mom just got back from having knee surgery done, so the bulk of my non-work time is probably going to be spent helping her.))
