Well, I finally finished fixing up Not Half Bad. (I blame Morpheus, who wrote a lengthy story recently, which took up several days worth of my free time.) Now I'm contemplating splitting the chapters in half, so the chapters I write are smaller and thus less daunting to write. (If I do, I can probably squeeze in a new chapter.) I'm considering doing the same thing for the Ranma and To Love-Ru crossover. Of course, it's not going to work if there aren't any good or suitable places to split them at. ;/

Well at least looking for places to split gives you a reason to review and revise your current story without going into a rewrite.

Never try to rewrite. I don´t know how many decent or even great stories i´ve seen where the author "is going to rewrite", and then nothing comes out of it, ever again.

In fact, i think know only two, maybe three stories, out of many dozen, where rewrites have NOT stalled or never happened.

Dark Side of the Moon is a product of a rewrite and then a semi-rewrite. XD;; (The first version I only ever shared with one other soul, and it didn't share much in common with the second version beyond the story's title. The third version kept only one chapter (of three) from the second version, but I haven't made much progress with it other than one new chapter and adding a prologue.)
