Fight monsters, grind fighting them if you want to gather enough materials to create weapons and armor out of those monster materials, fight tougher monsters, rinse, repeat.

Also you can either kill or capture (Except Elder Dragon class monsters) monsters, with capturing actually yielding more materials.

Yeah, I really liked three so I picked up four. Then more recently special got announced so I order it from Amazon. While I was waiting for it I started playing the 3DS verson again.

4 was pretty much my introduction to the series, and I agree that it's rather addicting. Off the top of my head, I can only think of a few other games that I've spent as much time on. Initially I hadn't planned on getting much for the Switch, but I found out this past weekend that Special was released, so I went straight for it.

I got Rune Factory 4 Special right when it released, so I've been playing it here and there.

I actually played 4 years ago on 3DS, but my 3DS save stuff got corrupted when I tried downloading Mewtwo for Smash, and so I lost all my save data and just couldn't bring myself to start the game over.

I've started the game over multiple times on my DS. I didn't marry anyone my first time through. I married Dylas my second time.

I pre-order Special from Amazon and got it the day after release. I've mostly been playing it since. Although I did play Pokeomon Sword a little so I could trade with my brother.

I ended up buying Pokemon Mystery Dungeon DX since I never actually played the original games.

Finished the main story.

I purchased the first Mystery Dungeon just to get a Pokemon. It so wasn't worth it.

Well, my batteries are toast in my 2ds and my psp’s are buried in the piles of my storage unit consolidation...(condensed everything from the Idaho show back into my Colorado storage...anyone wanna by a 40x60 grand pavilion?)

I think that's referring to the remake of the original games that was released on the Switch recently. Don't know much about it, though.
