So... tired. And quiet, but mostly tired. ...And I can't seem to move right now. Is it because I'm dwelling too much on what could have been, on what could have happened if I'd discovered this place years earlier? Is it because I've been finding myself getting increasingly angry more and more, exhausting myself mentally in the process?

...Or is it because I've eaten 9,000 calories worth of food in the past half hour? My last uneaten Skittle for a good mystery...

*swats Konoko's hand away* That's what Curtis keeps telling me, but I can't tell if he's just messing with me or not. First thing he told me after he saw that new artwork of me was that he thought my jeans looked small on me.

No, nothing like that. It's... well, normally I eat a lot because my hybrid form's speed requires a lot of nutrients and calories to maintain. ...And also because I like to eat for the enjoyment of it, but that's not as important. Thing is, I've been sticking to human form an awful lot in recent months. Because of that I haven't been running around as often, so I haven't been burning off everything I eat, and... well, I think you can see the end result of that.

Nailed it. Urgh... dunno what's worse: not feeling like shopping, or forcing myself to... *shudders violently* ...go on a diet.

Yeah. Unfortunately, if I want to lose weight than I'm going to have to put some serious clamps on my shopping habits. Whenever I'm out and about I always---and I do mean always--- get something unhealthy to eat. I just can't help it: I see delicious food, and automatically I start thinking "I've got to eat this now now now now now now now!"

Fortunately my annual December lockdown is coming up...

Because no matter where I go from here through December, whether it's my home Earth, Spamville or Muffinville, I can't escape that non-stop super-repetitive get-stuck-in-your-head Christmas music! Ugh... last time I ranted about this, Circe tied me to the ceiling fan and set it on "high". Calm down, Callista, calm down...

[I work as a checker in a grocery store, so the christmas music is going to start after Thanksgiving. But hey, I can handle it]

Rrrrghhh... I'm not going to say that's the only reason why I don't celebrate Christmas, but it's definitely a defining factor. Ugh, I could use some Sweet Tarts right now... *tears up* ...but I'm supposed to lose weight! *slams her face into the bench and cries*
