I need some help with coding indentation

Right, so... Finally, I updated my Firefox from 3.6.8 to 19. The I use for indentation is affected by text-align:justify, where the indentation size varies from paragraph to paragraph, which I've only now become aware of with the new browser. (The indentation was uniform with the older version of the browser.) Is there a way to fix this without having to resort to abandoning the BR tag for the P tag?
