crossover idea twists

Where stuff about fanfiction that doesn't fit into any other category goes. Try to make sure that new topics here actually couldn't actually go somewhere else.

Although this idea is better then the one for 'Take the Green and Go', Don't you have enough stories you are writing

Here's an interesting concept for a SM/DC Universe cross. Sailor Mars has power over fire. But fire is the thing that the Martians of the DC Universe fear above all else. What does that imply about the rule of the Silver Millennium?

If you want to go ahead. I am preping to work my stories (many reasons for my delays) and won't be able to use this idea for myself.

It has been commented before... but the DC universe explanation is that Martians breed in fire, but it was the Oans (the ones that created the Green Lantern powers) who are responsible for the fear. so the idea would be good in theory, but anyone who knows the truth would shoot it down like lightning.

But the cross on that bases can be done, since the green lantern's draw their powers from a demon... the Demon (impurity in the Green Lantren power source "Paralax") could have been doing something to convince the Oans to see the Martians as a threat and be in league with Metallia or Sailor Chaos/Galaxia...
Storm trooper effect works against good guys as well.

When Genma was training under Happosai he gets badly hurt and ends up in the hospital. There he meets the Ami's mom as a young intern and they end up falling in love and Genma marrys her instead of Nodoka.

Ranma, Sailor Moon, Sailor V cross, divergant

Idea is simple in its own twisted way. Ranma as Sailor Venus, and Sailor V as being just who she is (Sailor Moon's body double from the Moon Kingdom). So it still has Minako as Sailor V helping the Senshi who now have Ranma as Sailor Venus... cross done, and Ranma as a Sailor Senshi without losing a character...

This twist is a bit more devoloped, but not enough so that I think it classifies as its own full thought idea:

Nerima of Konoha:
a Ranma/Naruto cross (obviously) where Nerima is actually a Neighborhood or district of Konoha. Ranma timelines are shifted so he is 15 instead of 16 when he gets to the "Tendo's" only instead of the Tendo's its the Haruno's... Ranma gets engaged to Sakura, Hinata, and Ino... Crossover takes place starting at start of Ranma, and start of Part II for Naruto.

Neji would be a pain... Ino would make it a contest with Sakura, and Sakura is already given Super Tomboy stregnth.

Tenten connection... she is the most Chinese of the Naruto cast... local amazon anyone? Make her the one that Ranma beat instead of Shampoo... (only she didn't give him the kisses)

Basically redo the Ranma story with this setup.

In the manga Ranma's age is not told to us until the mushrooms of aging arc so Ranma could be 15 without shifting any timelines.

Oh mini idea (to stay on topic):

Ranma/OMG crossover

Ranma through some means gets an angel egg. Ranma not being a god or demon shouldn't have the power to activate it but he does. The angel that hatches is similiar to Urds (half good/half bad) This draws the attention of both the gods and demons. They find that Ranma has the power of a class 3 deity but the potential to have the power of a class 1. Meaning he has the power to kill a god/demon but since he is human the doublet system doesn't apply to him. Both sides want him some compete to get him, others both gods and demons try and bribe him, and some fear him and try to kill him. Ranma doesn't join sides but does weasel techniques (spells) from both sides. (Remember not all gods are good nor are all demons bad in mythology)

Here's one that could be turned into a fic, or even turned into another Bet, depending on how many possibilities can be made up.

It is believed at the beginning of Noir, and confirmed near the end, that "Kirika Yumura" is an alias. But Kirika never does find out what her real name is. Given what happened to Mireille, it is known that Soldats has the authority to order its members to turn over their children to Altena to be trained as Noir assassins (or be executed for disobedience).

What if Kirika was actually the sister of some other anime character? And then the sibling, who remembers Kirika, though Kirika does not reciprocate, runs into her?

The only candidate I can think of off hand as a potential sibling would be Rei Hino. It's plausible for her to have a sibling with black hair and brown eyes, her father's position in the Diet is something that might be held by a Soldats member, and the fact that he only sees Rei one evening a year implies that he doesn't have enough family feeling to object to giving a child away for political power. Having a sibling drop off the map for no apparent reason would also add to the reasons why Rei isn't on good terms with her father.

I considered Ranma as another candidate, but I doubt that Genma is high enough in the criminal underworld for Soldats to even notice his existence.

Edit: I just thought of another candidate: Shinji Ikari. With that one, you can also have a shadow war between SEELE and Soldats, with Gendo playing both sides against each other.

"With Genma, it technically wouldn't matter. He'd do it in a heartbeat, and it could allways be written as a continuation crossover."

"As for the Evangelion cross, a very, very good idea. Now who here actually has the stones to pull it off?"

Genma would sell a daughter to Soldats without hesitation, true. But Noir candidates are selected at birth from the children of Soldats members. Soldats members (above the level of the minions that Mireille and Kirika wipe out in bulk loads) are all people who are significant in the realms of politics, the military, industry, or organized crime. Soldats uses its power to solidify their positions, and in return the members use their positions to aid in accomplishing Soldat's goals. Failure to obey any order for any reason is grounds for execution.

Genma isn't significant enough to be involved in Soldats above the flunky level.

Edit: Another possible sibling for Kirika: Sosuke Sagara. This one would probably involve Noir getting a contract for Sosuke and the reunited siblings trying to kill each other while the FMP cast wondering what to do about this bizarre family reunion (So Sosuke's little sister is a professional assassin... Why am I not surprised?).

Ranma/Angel Tales cross/fusion

Where the "Goddess" of the Angel Tales story causes 12 cats that died during the Neko-ken training to come back as Ranma's guardian angels... except they are all teenage human girls... (I don't think I need to spell out the chaos this would cause in the Ranmaverse)

Utena/Buso Renkin. The student council at Utena's school fights with each other regularly for control over a girl that can produce a sword from inside her body. What would be their reaction if they ran into a guy who routinely pulls a lance out of his torso?

I was just watching and reading thru KashiMashi and had the random thought 'what would have happened if it was Ranma instead of Hazumu that was hit by the UFO?', Could make for intresting stories concidering the pleathera of writers out there. I myself would write a one-shot if I were not so busy trying to get back to 7 other stories I have yet to continue, let alone the research on the two active ones I have.
