Soldiers of the Caribbean

Alright, I've just come from a showing of PotC 3 and my muse whacked me over the head with this idea in the parking lot.

Some sort of spatial distortion or an enemy attack or a royal screw-up on Pluto's part scatters the girls across whatever historical era Pirates of the Caribbean takes place in, probably a fantasy setting like a Dungeons and Dragons at Sea sort of thing. Each of the girls finds herself in a different port and through a series of unlikely situations, all the Inners (Outer Senshi participation is optional) find themselves setting sail for one reason or another. Eventually they meet up again but not before they've established themselves as legends of the seven seas, at which point they direct their combined powers against a mystic threat of some sort in the hopes that destroying this threat will provide them with a way home.

Firstly, this would probably work best as a spamfic, but it could be made to work as a semi-serious comedy.

Second, I've got more ideas for this that I'll have to post later because my kid brother is badgering me to let him on.

Third, this idea is going straight to the backburner because I'm busy with Silent Dawn. Anyone who wants to use it is welcome to do so.

I could have commented that there was a similar fic idea posted not too long ago using Ranma instead of the Senshi. I think it took peoples ideas and left little to think of to say that wouldn't be a repete here.

Eh... It's just that I'd just come from the theater and I had these awesome images in my head.

Ami standing on her ships prow (I think that's what the very tip of the ship is) throwing great big spears of ice at enemy ships

Makoto smashing her way through someplace like Tortuga in the middle of an all-out brawl like in the first movie.

Usagi takes a thump on the head and gets stuck in Princess Mode; her Aura of Command makes sailors under her command fight harder and helps them overcome impossible odds.

Minako as a swashbuckling bard who earns the name "Queen of Blades".

Stuff like that.

I can really see the Ami and Makoto scenes. I don't know about the Usagi having her get hit on the head and act like a great leader seems like a cop out. Now having her dodge a bullet by tripping over some rope and then having the man who shot at her be knocked out by the mop that was attached to the rope. Her crew would, of course, think this was normal.

Given Usagi's Apetite and the convenient tool to make people have a larger one at sea makes me wonder if Usagi could have a ship that gets far from any ports at all. You know without risking a shortage of provisions.

Really she's the main one you suggested I see as staying on land for one reason or another till characters from the movies start getting involved and have a reason to drag her to sea.

Captain: "You won't get away with this!"
Nobleman: "Please take anything you want! just don't kill us."

Pirate: "Don't worry, we will. We're here to raid your galley!"

The pirates of the Hungry Rabbit are some of the most fearsome sailors to have ever sailed the open seas. They leave no survivors, the only sign of their presence are ships full of corpses looking like they were gnawing at each other. A curiosity is that no valuables have been reported missing from plundered ships but their galleys are completely empty.

I thought of Usagi 'landing' in Shipwreck Cove, and learning piracy from Captain Teague. ^.~

And here I thought people didn't want to touch this one with a ten-foot pole; no responses period up 'till now.

Sorry if this took a bit long, but every time I read it, it killed my brain with awesome. ^^

Other than attacking him. ^^'

Personally, I see her crew being terrified, while she's very calm. 'Cause I doubt she'd see him as scary as the other things she' come across.

Personally, I could see Usagi going from port to port because each ship she gets on drops her off at the first opportuinity so they won't run out of food. This could have her name known everywhere, and tons of rumors made because noone believes that someone could get kicked off of that many ships just for eating too much......

lol I really like HD's idea. I hope someone uses it. Maybe she could even have a nickname like the floating fammine.

She comes aboard and provisions always run short.

Funny scene: Barbosa and Elizabeth go to the Singapore pirate lord only to find he's already been replaced by a "Callisto" or whatever her name is (who is really Sailor Neptune.)
