By the way, does the fuku come with a disguise field? Although it wouldn't help when people see her transform at random (could lead to some more fun). May be useful for later on when she's going to help the senshi.

A disguise field might help some, but I'm actually unsure if Senshi even have a disguise field. I'm aware of it being common thought, but something in the manga makes me think different.


XD I actually want to see the reaction of people from FF.net. I just wonder how big the huge backlash to that kind of outfit would be. It would be... amusing. Although considering that Ranma wouldn't be a TRUE Senshi, I don't think it would become THAT crazed.

I'm pretty sure the disguise field is fanon. But come on, no one becoming suspicious in the series? Especially Usagi/Sailor Moon (how many BLONDE peoplein Japan have that hairstyle?).

Ranma's red hair and pony or pig tail is also distinctive. I think the statment from Venus in the dubbed Anime (Not sure if it's there before the dub never caught the subs for that ep.) about them all looking different when in civilian form is the closest I have heard to confirmation of the disguise field.

I don't think anyone would be able to pay attention long enough to see what Sailor Pompom would look like due to bright colors and all the glitter.

Anybody have some 'attack' ideas? I'm considering mostly useless ones, but having at least one true attack.

Rainbow Beam: Fires off a multi-colored beam of light from the hands. It does no damage, but could blind the opponent for a few moments.

Glitter Storm: Blowing a cloud of glitter from the hand. Has the effect of agitating someone's vision

Glitter Tornado: Spinning at super speeds to create an area-wide glitter storm for better escapes.

Thorn Whip: A whip with very painful thorns. Once used by a certain daughter of a certain scientist to vent anger off of certain drunk as hell scientists.

Time to take a queue that would have been useless to anyone but Ranma. Afterall who else other than Mariko has done any Martial Arts Cheerleading?

The Ability to generate battons at will. They could be used in performance or as a projectile. Anyone else would more or less be able to throw it at the enemy but after having to suffer through the indignity of learning more techniques to cheer for Kuno in the Manga why not have it be usefull here?

Also a good way to slip in a little more mental anguish in how you use the memories of that emberassing fight.

I need to read the cheerleading storyline of the manga. It's true though that Ranma could take a useless thing and put it to good use.


The more I think about it, the more I'm thinking about doing a side story to Wild Magic later. 'Wild Magic Sidestory: Growing-up Years'

It would be about Ranma's times in-between the time skips. So a couple or so things from ages 0 to 2, and several things from 2 to 11.

Because I've thought about several things of interest. Such as a couple otherworldly villains, crazed inventions, etc.

I know I'd want to see that. There's just so much time of this Lina Ranma's history that got left out and well like I said in edits for this chapter time at the Masaki house can't ever be that uneventful.

About the Cheerleading I think the Martial arts cheerleading is in volumes 21 and 22 Chapters 219-224 based on series count.

Edit: Ooh maybe you could have Akane remind Ranma of the Martial Arts Cheerleading after she sees this Fuku.

Yeah, impossible to be uneventful at the Masaki household.

Ideas that could be portrayed would be such things as the first visit to Jurai, visits to other planets, near death experiences (C'mon, Ranma's a martial artist who loves to fight, and is bound to try and fight some incredibly powerful enemies. Considering how her body was a child during those times, she was bound to almost get killed several times), and several other things.

Hell, even time with the Malfoys and visiting Nerima as 'Katsuhito's adopted granddaughter.'

Damn, there's so many things. I'm surprised that I actually chose to do a time skip. Then again, if I didn't do a time skip, I'd NEVER get to Hogwarts

I agree. There are so many yet unexploited possibilities. I can't wait for more.
