crossover idea twists

Where stuff about fanfiction that doesn't fit into any other category goes. Try to make sure that new topics here actually couldn't actually go somewhere else.

Genma isn't significant enough to be involved in Soldats above the flunky level.

So what about Nodoka? To be honest we don't know much about what she does when she's not visiting the Tendos. Maybe she's more than she appears? And if she sent one child on a ten year training trip she might be willing to give up another entirely, especially if there was an 'honour' component to it.

Unless all members of Soldats have to be male, or something. I've never seen/read Noir.

There are female Soldats members. Being female is a prerequisite for becoming a Noir candidate, and Noir are the elite enforcers of Soldats. In addition, Altena (the woman who trained Kirika and Chloe) was a member of the Soldats inner circle (and would have become the organization's absolute leader if the Noir induction ritual had succeeded), and Mireille's mother Oldana was a Soldats member. Finally, Altena had a couple dozen female Soldats members at the flunky level who filled the 'minions to be killed in bulk lots' role in the final episode. I'd say that men outnumber the women in Soldats by at least 10:1, but there are female members.

If Nodoka turned a daughter over to Soldats after the training trip began, Genma wouldn't notice until it was far too late to do anything about it, and he probably couldn't be bothered to look into it if he figured out part of his family was missing when he came home ten years later.

In addition to the 'honor' component of the order, there's the far more serious 'do what your superiors tell you or we kill you' component of Soldats orders.

Ranma/Godzilla crossover.

Two possibilities, the first a spring twist.

Spring of Drowned Gojira? How's that even possible?

Second...

Godzilla left another egg besides that one in New York...and guess who's right next to it when it opens?

I believe that has been done already.

Yes, Innortal did that in one of his Ranma Omake files, along with Spring of Drowned Purple Dinosaur (The most horrible spring of all), Spring of Drowned Italian Plumber (Who makes gold coins appear whenever he smashed bricks, to Nabiki's delight), and the Spring of Drowned Cat With Crescent Forehead Marking (Which later became a fic in its own right).

A few days ago a small light went up in my head. Here is a crossover that's actually fairly feasible in mechanics, a Card Captor Sakura/Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha one. Featuring the Clow Cards as Lost Logia, this ought to be very interesting as you get Nanoha's Time-Space Administration Bureau on one end, who want to contain them, Sakura, who is instructed by the Guardian of the Cards and former familiar to the creator to do pretty much the same on another, with the Li clan on the last end who are interested claiming the cards as their own because Clow was their ancestor...

The fireworks as these factions clash would be very interesting to watch, but for some reason, I think the Bureau is willing to let the Cards stay with Sakura more than with the Li, if only because she was tasked by Kero...

Please do note I'm keeping Eriol out, as that would create the mess of having someone who has a legitimate claim through reincarnation pass that claim on to Sakura... Yes, this is liable to become very interesting indeed, if done well.

Same way there's a Spring of Drowned Ashura, as one possibility. See below.

Also done as an Addventure: Goji-Ranma.

Basic plot: The Jusenkyo Guide's nephew's been throwing kaiju toys in springs without a template. We have Spring of Drowned Gojira, Spring of Drowned Gamera, Spring of Drowned Vorpal Rabbit (Monty Python and the Holy Grail), and Spring of Drowned GINO.

A crossover of Naruto and Star Wars was included in a recent package of dreams a few nights ago.

Suppose that Princess Leia's distress call at the start of Episode IV never got to Tatooine...and instead wound up in the hands of the Akatsuki. Strange, yes. What's even stranger is that as a result, Itachi Uchiha and Kisame ultimately wind up responsible for the Death Star's destruction. The dream didn't elaborate on how they did it, or why they'd even want to...or why they were talking about it at a local town. I imagine a potential showdown between either of the two and Vader is possible, though your guess as to who'd win is probably better than mine.

I wish I wouldn't think of these things. :?

In Fan Art We we discussing a Ranma/POTC/SM crossover. Captain Jill Sparrow of the Pirate ship Artemis, having defeated the Evil Type General Copralite, she is now fighting the good fight against:
King of Stuff wrote:Admiral Bauxite (Admiral Alouisious Bauxite) of the West Indies Trading Co. is her newest enemy as she sails the Caribbean sea in search of Gold. Bauxite is seen by some as a lightweight but he is very versitile. He absolutely hates it when she calls him Al. But she does have an ally, who once sailed under Bauxite's command, one Gibbsite. It was quite a blow to Bauxite when Gibbsite deserted. But he still has his lieutenants, Boehmite, Diaspore, Goethite and Hematite, Kaolinite (a different one) and Anatase.

Of course Captain Sparrow has lost the Artemis to his mutinous master, Happosai Barbossa, and is seeking it. Of course with Ryoga as his helmsman, he can easily evade the Senshi of the Caribbean, but Happosai really isn't getting where he want to be.

We are a truly demented bunch.

Ah, but that's the one of the joys of fanfiction; to see stories thrown into a blender and frappeed. I've been working on (well, more off than on) an Airbats/Dale Brown fusion/self-insert, with elements of Larry Bond's novel Red Phoenix, where I've added an updated design of an aircraft designed in 1946 (the Douglas Skyraider, but now with a T-56 turboprop), diesel-electric submarines designed off the WWII Gato/Balao-class fleet boats, and a nuclear powered Midway-class carrier.

And in (my only truly complete story) Phoenix I brought back a fighter designed in the 1950s, and updated it based on data from the F-16XL program, Sweden's Draaken, and the F-106E/F variant (never built or wind-tunnel tested) to make it competitive today. Mainly because I despise the F-22.

You want demented? How about a fanfic where the Incredible Hulk is forced into a Sailor Fuku, or maybe the incredible hulk is somehow turned female AND is forced into a Sailor Fuku.

As I recall the Hulk has destroyed universes with a clap of his hands, and hurt and killed energy beings by punching them. I'm not sure there is anything in the Sailor Moon universes that could stop a Sailor Hulk. Mind control does not work well, and tends to end badly for the controler.

I remember a crossover where Ryoga ended up as The Hulk. (Actually, it was hard to tell the difference, except I think he became a little green piglet.)

While the Hulk may be strong, he does not fly -- he leaps. Any telekinetic able to get him off the ground before he jumps, and out of the atmosphere before he claps his hands, should be able to handle him. Then dump him onto Jupiter. Not the sun, there are too many gamma rays there. But somehow, I think a planet with no solid surface would be hard to jump off of.

Short of that, the dread Puppy Dog Eyes could do it. I recommend the little girl from the Dexter's Laboratory episode "Aye aye eyes".

What we really need is a Dexter Meets Washuu crossover. I've seen one, but we need more!

This is oneshot potential only, unless somebody can turn it into a minor scene in a larger fic.

The Senshi are chasing after the latest Monster of the Week when their chase ends up going through a shrine where a wedding is taking place. A wedding between Yusuke Urameshi and Keiko Yukimura. The groom's reaction to having a monster crash his wedding is to casually point his finger at it and blow its head off with a Rei Gun. There is a brief pause, then one of the guests asks,

"Does anyone else have a reason why these two should not be wed?"

The animes in question are semi-flexible, all that's really needed is for someone in the wedding party to be able to use their power without some kind of transformation.
