Wait, what? I was certain that that series took place in Odaiba; Myotismon makes use of Fuji TV studios to create that fog bank and cut Odaiba off from the rest of the world. Does this building ring any bells?

Actually, you might try to find a way to tie this into Digimon Tamers, which takes place in the Shinjuku ward; that's right in between Minato and Nerima.

Yes, the main battle takes place in Odaiba, but Highton View Terrace where the first Koromon and Parrotmon battled (which would be closer to the Ranma and Sailor Moon `present`), and where Myotismon came through, and Oikawa returned is in Nerima.

Pish. For instance, I looked up and then purchased collections of early Popeye because they were *interesting*. Ditto many other keen-o older or classic culture. (e.g. finding and reading 'Journey to the West', most of the Tintin books, ...)

Any geek worth his or her salt will research and find interesting stories and culture, and today with tools like wikipedia, we have an amazingly easy starting spot.

My grandma ordered the Journey to the West series for me for my birthday back in June, but the shipping date for the books was supposed to be in July. Mid July rolls around and the shipping date was changed to mid September. The start of August rolls around, and we find out that they actually canceled the order because they weren't doing that special anymore or something.

If you're going to do a 'two invincibles' sort of crossover, go straight for the best: Ranma vs. Popeye. Tokyo is a port city, after all. Happosai can deal wif Poopdeck Pappy or vice-versa. For spice, we can have Mousse grabbing onto Olive Oyl. And I wonder how Ukyou would handle J. Wellington Wimpy? "I will gladly pay you Tuesday for an okonomiyaki today!"

The Sea Hag gets off her ship in Minato ward and never makes it to Nerima for some reason. I wonder how Jeep would get along with Luna and Artemis? And what would the Senshi do about Alice the Goon?

What are the comparative power-boost ratings of spinach versus Super Soba?

And does Professor O. G. Wottasnozzle come along? That could drag Washuu all the way to Tokyo from Okayama, if only for the laughs.

This is sounding depressingly feasible.

Instead of Eva pilots there are the demon containers. They "Summon the form" of the sealed beast, but the beast's mind remains in the seal.

The "Angels" are trying to capture the tailed beasts, and are sent by Akatsuki (Seele)

Poopdeck Pappy is off with Happosai doing perverted stuff. Swee'pea ate an age mushroom, and is currently serving as one of Beryl's generals. (Never did trust the little bugger.) The identical quadruplets are on an exchange program with Huey, Dewey, and Louie, who are applying Junior Woodchuck techniques to youma-trapping. I don't know what Ham Gravy and Castor Oyl are up to - they were last seen heading towards the Ginza.

I'd say Mars or Uranus. An Awakened Saturn could be very, very dangerous.

You realize that with all the times Naru gets attacked by Youma, there's a good chance that she'd end up swallowing Youma blood by accident sooner or later, which would make her turn into a Senshi (Which is the term Claymores use when referring to each other).

Usagi would end up getting fat. Claymore-type Senshi eat about what a normal person does in one meal over the course of a week. So Usagi's eating habits would be extreme overeating for a Claymore.

I'm not sure if this has been said sometime before, but what about instead of the Kyuubi inside of Naruto, Xellos was sealed inside after he was having a little fun with mischief.

Of course, it would be hard to figure out just WHY he was causing so much random damage. However, the amusing thing would be to have Naruto incorporate a little of Xellos's personality.

Then again, another idea is that maybe a young Naruto read the Slayers manga/novels and was inspired by Xellos.

At six years of age, Naruto sneaks into one of the book stores of Konohagakure and starts reading either a manga or novel of Slayers that has Xellos in it. The shopkeeper sees Naruto reading in his store and gets annoyed. The shopkeeper tosses Naruto out of his store while yelling about how many times he has to keep yelling at Naruto to stop reading in the store.

Of course, Naruto still has hold of the book, and so he decides to take it and read it. After reading, Naruto starts to like Xellos's character, and decides it would be fun to emulate the character's personality. Emulate it down to the manipulativeness and other such traits.

Oh, I just thought of an interesting scene during the academy. Naruto could be sitting at the desk while Ino is standing around. As Kiba walks up, Naruto reaches out, grabs Kiba by the wrist, and pulls him over so that his hand accidentally grabs hold of Ino's chest. Needless-to-say, Kiba would end up getting bounded into the ground, and Ino would try and get at Naruto.

Naruto could also attempt to learn how to do the Shushin jutsu for the sake of something similar to Xellos's teleportation.

However, Xellos sealed inside of Naruto would also have some merit. Because the influence would be interesting.
