Honestly, I've had a few other 'past life' ideas for Wild Magic Ranma thought up from time-to-time just for the hell of it. Except for the Lina Inverse, Ranma Saotome, and -- to the extent of Pompom -- Mezara Sarashi lives, none of the other pasts hold any story significance at all, or have any mention. However, I am thinking about having a male past life get a brief mention in passing of about a sentence/paragraph.

No matter what the life, there's always certain traits that remain true. Those traits being energetic, talented in certain fields, smart-mouthed, prone to trouble, and a couple or so other things.

I was just contemplating Ranma's desire to be male again and possible solutions.

Cask of Nannichuan. Ideal. Cold water male curse. What about just plain old transformations from Minerva. A gender swap ought to be easier than a species swap.

P.S. to Kimina, Our author did mention that Ranma was a descendant of Lina.

I really like your stories. Here's some thoughts on what Lina and Narcissa can do for the month they're together. I've forgotten if Laira can transform into a ship, but if she can than maybe during the month with Ranma's mother she can take Narcissa into space with Ranma as a bonding experience? It'd be a good way to help Narcissa see what her daughter has become and to help her "expand her horizons" so to speak. Ranma's mother could share withh her more about her family history on both sides, as I can see Narcissa being unsatisfied with her lack of knowledge about her ancestors, being a pure-blood and all. It seems that that would be important to Narcissa. Maybe Narcissa has a secret vice that she shares with Lina. Something along the lines of playing poker professionally or something that a proper pure-blood princess should not have any knowledge of much less do for fun. Is that any help? Anyway great chapter, keep it up please.

Glad to see you're pushing ahead with this. If you really are going to write all seven years of Hogwarts lunacy, this will be a truly epic story. While this summer break may be too early for it, I suggest letting Lina experience some truly unfortunate magic (or hormones) and have a crush for a boy. It could be just like Ranma's Koi Rod story. Or, she could do what she can to suppress it, but being such an expressive person will make others pick up on her feelings quickly. Ryoko and the Hogwarts student body would tease Lina for it until the epilogue.

borgrabbit: Ah, that makes sense now. However, messing around with Jusenkyou magic would be unwise due to the springs having a rather chaotic nature. Also, I doubt Ranma would want to put up with the random water magnet issues that would occur with being cursed again. Along with the fact that there are a lot of people who already know 'Lina', Ranma would have to explain why it happened and everything.

BookFiend: I've had thoughts before about Ranma taking Narcissa into outerspace, but not at the current time. I had a small idea last night concerning a much later point in the story where it could come up.

MinionSeven: Ranma won't have any crush on a boy due to hormones or anything. Ranma's preference is girls. Of course, a temporary issue with a potion of sorts that would cause a similar event for a few seconds would make much more sense considering Ranma's issue with being affected by magic. It wouldn't be long enough for anything to happen, but it WOULD be long enough to gain some embarrassment.

After that, whoever used the potion on her had better be able to run fast, because it would be certain that Ranma would want to pound their ass into the ground 10x over.

Of course, we all know what happened the one time Lina Inverse went to the theater. Between the magic, the swordplay, and the dynamite, I'm frankly surprised the theater was still standing at the end of the day.

Currently at 6.1k words, and I'm planning on the next few scenes involving Narcissa taking 'Lina' on a shopping expedition. It's probably logical to assume that Diagon Alley isn't the only area in London for wizarding wares. There's probably other places scattered around.

Plus, on top of that, Lina has already admitted to her mother that she's not into boys at all. Sorry, but a lot of us can not see Ranma/Lina marrying a guy. Reguardless of gender. I think she'd have artificial insemmination done before letting a boy get that close to her.
