Poor poor ... Belldandy ?!? Love Hina/AMG cross over Idea

This idea came to me after ... well I don't really know when it came to me but I do know I was drinking a lot of stuff that kept me up at night and reading lot's of manga.

basically after reading about keitaro I began to notice things. He has a heart of gold, seems to be incapable of really getting angry, and is a nice cook, but it was his immortality that really got me thinking. What if Keitaros' immortality wasn't due to him but due to a force, say the ultimate force, and the reason that Keitaro is being protected by this force is because he's actually a certain goddess say ... belldandy.

What my idea is,is that do to something happening such as yggdrasil shutting down, or one of the girls makes a wish on something, or urd has something to do with it, the thing keeping belldandy as keitaro disappears, however due to all the hits keitaro has taken belldandy's mind is damaged her persona is unable to manifest so keitaros persona remains in control. Now the thing is is while Keitaro's persona remains in control his body has reverted back to his original form of belldandy.

The rest of the fic would deal with keitaro and the girls dealing with the fallout of keitaro returning back to belldandy, and urd, skuld, and possibly hild and peorth, staying at the inn. The possibility of Keitaro having to return to yggdrasil, and ... keiichi could possibly be included as a major plot point.

Anyway that's the idea I had. I have a roug for this draft of the prologue, but I would like some feed back and things I should consider for this fic.

I'd have a hard time believing this one, but if you could set it up right, it could be fun. As the old saying goes, "disbelief should be suspended, not hung by the neck until dead".

Well Skuld would like this idea. It's definitely one way to break up Beldandy and Keiichi. How do you end up with Beldandy being Keitaro and what about all the family connections involved with the Hinatta? You don't have multiple generations of history just there by convenience. Was there ever a living Keitaro in your story that Beldandy ended up replacing? If so what happened to him?

I have to admit, that's one huge stretch of a plot, but if you figure out a way to pull it off I look forward to you figuring out the mess with the 'Promise Girl' and the fact that if a goddess makes a wish, it's binding. Should be interesting, if nothing else.

Good points all, I'm really glad someone brought up the promise. I hadn't even thought of the effects of the promise, especially since I was planning on using Kanako as the wisher but now I think I could use the grandfather he wasn't mentioned much in the series, was he?

Oh yeah and about skuld liking this idea well she would probably hate it more than Keiichi being with her sister. After all with keiichi, Belldandy wasn't beaten with fists and swords after every little misunderstanding, didn't have to always pay for everything, or get her money stolen, she also wasn't set up just so that someone could have a little fun, and also wasn't used as a guinea pig for testing inventions, usually that would be Keiichi. Speaking of Keiichi, the way I was planning on using him was that they meet when Keitaro is feeling down, and after a couple more meeting Keitaro begins to develop feelings for Keiichi, which would really mess with Keitaro.

As for the whole is there another keitaro that's a definite no. But thanks for those questions, now I really got to iron out some more things.
