Ranma managed to see the knee coming and used her free hand to push herself up and ram the top of her head into the older woman’s chin. The force of the blow caused Ryoko to let go of the cat-girl’s hand, and with both of her hands free, Ranma positioned her arms into an ‘X’ formation with her claws facing outward. Leaping forward, the cat-girl slashed at her opponent, bounced off due to the force-field that Ryoko had created at the last moment.

Dumbledork's right about needing a 'but'. However, the comma might still need to be there.

My mind auto filled in bouncing when I read that. It happens to me too often when I'm not well rested... I think I'm going to call it a night for tonight and pray the noisy neighbors sleep in which for them means staying quiet at least until dawn for once, just once.

Originally, I planned on having Hermione, Gosaria, and Nashigi in the bath house as well. I also thought about not having Washu appear at the bath house, but have Ranma go to her afterward.

Honestly, I'm thinking about changing the bath house scene to have the trio there as well, and then have Ranma visit Washu.

Could Ranma use that version to renovate the baths at Hogwarts more to her liking? Excavate an Olympic sized set of baths in the rock under the castle if they can't find a large enough space inside the castle. It might not be open air but it will be better than what Hogwarts has now.

It's bound to be popular with the other girls as well.

You know, I like that idea. Ranma could ask Washu or Ryoko how to go about creating such an atmosphere so she could change the baths to look similar to the environment of the floating onsen. It would certainly increase her opinion of the Hogwarts baths.

The best part of all is that everyone at Hogwarts won't really question HOW it was done, because they are all aware of the fact that Ranma can do a bunch of odd and crazy things. What's one more? Especially one more odd and crazy thing that ends up transforming a rather boring bath area into a scenic paradise-like place.

Of course, the event would most likely be brought to the attention of the teachers and Dumbledore...

I could see it bringing around allot more problems than benefits. And really can't the students try for something like this already using the room of Requirement?

It might be better if this were done in a way that didn't alter Hogwarts in any way. Say combining that door to wherever you want from Tenchi Universe with Washu's dimensional pockets and build the whole thing into say a suitcase. Maybe it could even be accessed by a portal like was seen in Tenchi in Tokyo and have Ein hide it when the area is empty.

Sure. But ... do the students in general know the Room of Requirement even exists let alone where?

Oh, if Washu were to built something like that, that would be how it was done. But it's Ranma's idea to copy the floating onsen atmosphere and Laira who will do the renovating.

That's another reason I see for avoiding remodeling any existing part of Hogwarts. You can't really find many good places to convert with a good view of the sky. But if you have a private portable version of the onsen then you could float it over any house tower without having too much trouble. And it is invisible when they want it to be so even that isn't an issue.

Edit:I just looked at the Dual dimension bathroom in Universe. It's no where near the quality of the Ryo-Ohki baths and well in a way it almost seems like the best you could hope for if Lina went and tried to redesign the Slytherin bath.

Oh another advantage if it were something separate from the house she wouldn't have to bother with portraits complaining about people being in the wrong houses. Like say if Granger wanted to stop by for a soak.

Eh, I think I've suddenly lost interest in the idea. Too many issues regarding it have been brought up, and creating any other dimensional construct would seem too convoluted and annoying to plan.

I originally just thought of Ranma just transforming the Slytherin girls' baths because, well, that's the one Ranma goes to. Ah well, I guess the entire idea just doesn't seem right. It would cause too many questions and issues.

I'm having trouble finding anywhere that Ryouko was fighting using more than one energy sword at one time. Oh sure she could generate spheres and launch multiple blasts but she seems to prefer two handed sword fighting methods.

Well, it is about 10 or 9 years into the future and all. It's possible for Ryoko to learn how to create and use two swords at one time.

I don't think it's a limit on what she could create. If you watch how she handles the energy sword. Any time she's putting force behind it she's using both hands on the hilt. She isn't fencing or using other single handed styles.

I know, but like I said, after so many years, it is possible that she decides to try out using two at once.

Besides, during the fight, she wasn't trying for power, she was attempting to keep Ranma moving with fast swings. Even if they don't have the power swings behind them that using one sword does, they're still useful.
