Nope Wow picking something a character in the series drew really made it harder.

Edit: I know it's really too soon for another clue but I figure if I don't do it now someone might guess right before I get to post any more images for it

Well no new guesses. I know it's Christmas and I may be premature in posting another hint image but I have to admit that last moment I chose because it reminded me of so many things I know are unrelated. Like set pictures from Behind the Scenes of Tron where you could see how things looked without the digital additions. I'd list the Anime which it reminded me of that are wrong but I don't want to make things that easy

Here's an image with another character in it. I know I know I didn't give a face shot but I still want there to be some challenge.


Merry Christmas. Oh and if it isn't guessed before Midnight my time tonight I'll post one more image as a late Christmas gift which includes a name from the credits.

Edit: Wait no I can't do that. I just did a net search on the guy and he only Directed 5 things. Sure none of them have been guessed but it would still be way too easy if I did that. He's credited on allot more things but he's only directed 5 and this is one of them. I know that isn't such a great added hint but there are better looking shots to help if it isn't guessed anyway.

Ok so no slice of the credits. But I did find another moment in the video that could help and hopefully not give too much away. That complaint about only having worked on 5 things was from looking at IMDB and only seeing 5 entries as director so even with how they are often lacking I think you can see why I wouldn't want to give that.



All these images are from the same episode. Oh and each episode was made in a different year. So with that it should be clear it's an OVA hope all this helps.

More than a day since my last clue. I know I am giving a glut of clues but without guesses I can only guess that it isn't obvious yet. So here's another screen shot.

Nope not Sakura Wars either. But I'm really glad you guessed. I was beginning to wonder if my obscure images was making it so no one wanted to try anymore.

I've been more or less not at the PC... Xmas will kinda have that effect..

Anyways... It looks slightly older, and the second picture gives me the feeling it has a mecha component to it.

It's been directed by someone that did 5 things. That narrows down the field

It is an OVA, and plays in Akihabara (or atleast the first ep does).

Wild stab since I can't really pinpoint too muh with this: Area 88?

No it isn't Area 88

The Director has 5 entries on IMDB as Director, There are other things he worked on. And he was a Co director on this.

I still think the biggest hint I gave so far is that each episode of this OVA series was made in a different year. I think I should also point out they were consecutive years.

I think I also said that I chose the second image because it is deliberately misleading. Oh and so far all these images have been in the same order as seen in the episode.

Well I don't want to risk this going all the way into next year. So this next screen shot doubles the number of characters that show up in all the OAV's. And yes I am still choosing the frames on purpose.

Bingo! I really thought I had given it away after posting the image of Washu surrounded by lab equipment. Considering I started off with the sketch of Misao-chan and the bird that made her Pixie Misa. All the images are from the second episode of the three.
