Slayers Crossovers

Postby Nekomata-sensei » Sat Jan 31, 2009 4:32 pm

I'm looking mainly for crossovers between Ranma and Slayers, any would be good, but I'm hoping for at least a couple really good ones, as I've seen a few in the past, and they were all mediocre at best.

I also wouldn't mind other Slayers crossovers, perhaps with Harry Potter.

Finally, I'm looking for a fic that I think is just Slayers, no crossover, in which Lina is kidnapped by people who worshiped her as a goddess, and they turn her into a chimera with Orihalcium and Ruby-Eye stuff wearing a leotard or something like that, and make some weird 'heaven' dimension with a whole bunch of Lina copies turned all angel-like. I tried searching through fanfiction.net, but I couldn't find it, and I'm not sure where I actually found it the first time, but it was pretty good, and I'd like to read it again, as it's been a while and I can hardly remember it.

Actually, any Slayers fics you'd recommend I'd like to see links to.

I've no clue on the second request. I do not really read much in way of Slayers stories that are not crossovers.

As for the first request... virtually every Ranma/Slayers crossover is fairly dead or inactive. With one sort of in preview over at TFF being active that I've not really read. Here are the ones I know of and track... some are Internet archive ones, so may need to play with them to get at whole story.

R-SLYR 'Dragon's Bond' by Morden Night - [Status=Not Complete] - [Last Dld=02/26/2004] - [Size=344kb]R-SLYR 'Old Soul' by Francis Bourque - [Status=Not Complete] - [Last Dld=12/31/2000] - [Size=202kb]R-SLYR 'Ranko Inverse' by Ghent Johanson - [Status=Not Complete] - [Last Dld=12/19/2003] - [Size=24kb]R-SLYR 'Ranma Inverse' by Lina Metallium - [Status=Not Complete] - [Last Dld=05/22/2003] - [Size=135kb]R-SLYR 'Ranma Mazoku Factor' by Carrotglace - [Status=Not Complete] - [Last Dld=08/25/2008] - [Size=374kb]R-SLYR 'Ranma Slayers Leaving' by Kuraiko Kurohoshi - [Status=Not Complete] - [Last Dld=05/10/2002] - [Size=354kb]R-SLYR 'Ranmazoku' by RedMenace - [Status=Complete] - [Last Dld=05/18/2002] - [Size=329kb]R-SLYR 'Redheads' by Kenko - [Status=Not Complete] - [Last Dld=02/21/2000] - [Size=89kb]R-SLYR 'Slayers What' by Vahn - [Status=Single File] - [Last Dld=11/19/2001] - [Size=18kb]R-SLYR 'Soul Mates' by Driver Jim Ohki - [Status=Single File] - [Last Dld=10/21/2004] - [Size=27kb]R-SLYR 'The Long Road to Redemption' by ss4-link - [Status=Not Complete] - [Last Dld=07/31/2008] - [Size=28kb]R-SLYR 'The Slayers Wild' by Troy Thomas - [Status=Not Complete] - [Last Dld=11/27/2002] - [Size=108kb]R-SLYR 'Totally Inversed' by The-Zorch - [Status=Single File] - [Last Dld=10/23/2007] - [Size=42kb]R-SLYR 'When Past and Present Collide' by Inverse Laina - [Status=Not Complete] - [Last Dld=04/23/2005] - [Size=88kb]
Ranma/Slayers multi-crossovers
R-MULTI 'Eezoon' by Nabeshin Danbei Ayanami - [Status=Not Complete] - [Last Dld=06/01/2007] - [Size=328kb]R-MULTI 'Just won't die' by Jeffrey OneShot Wong - [Status=Not Complete] - [Last Dld=05/31/2006] - [Size=14776kb]R-MULTI 'More Than Half' by Michael Fetter - [Status=Not Complete] - [Last Dld=10/10/2004] - [Size=702kb]
Ranma/Sailor Moon, Slayers in the second arc only:
R-SM 'The Dragon and the Phoenix' by Figure Four - [Status=Not Complete] - [Last Dld=09/05/2002] - [Size=675kb]
Other series:
Love Hina/Slayers
LH-SLYR 'As Yet Untitled Love Hina Fic' by DhampyrX2 - [Status=Not Complete] - [Last Dld=06/30/2006] - [Size=37kb]

There are other Ranma/Slayers multicrossovers I know of, but in most of those, she is minor character at best, or even just a mere mention.

EDIT: A note, forgot to mention, 'Totally Inversed' is off his google groups site, I do not think he ever actually got around to moving it to his author pages.

Hrmm slayers...

Destiny's Child has some Slayers in it... but more as a short flashback than anything else (R/12+SM with bit of slayers in it)

http://addventure.bast-enterprises.de/18575.html for the last one. Nice thread, though like most of the Addventure stories, not finished. Hasn't been touched in almost a year.
Unless I say otherwise, if I'm discussing Ranma canon, I'm talking about the MANGA.

Hey,

I posted about this a while ago. You may find some more results in this thread: http://www.fukufics.com/viewtopic.php?t=2666.

Hope that helps.

Thanks everyone, especially Drawde for that apparently addventure thread I was looking for. I hope it gets resurrected. Anyway, I'd like to take this opportunity to recommend the Slayers novels to anyone who hasn't read them. They are very good and quite funny, I've read the first two and I'm in the middle of the 3rd one and also have the 4th. They are some of the best fantasy fiction I've read, I'd say they're even better than the 4 seasons Dragonlance books or R.A. Salvatore's work with Drizzt, and Lina is far more interesting and fun to read than Elminster.

It looks like I'm going to also have to find a way to read the Slayers manga and watch the Slayers anime, hopefully I can find them both online, like youtube or something, especially as I don't think the adventures with Naga are covered in the novels.

They are, in a different set of novels that aren't available in English. For that matter, half of the novels about Lina's travels with Gourry aren't available in English yet either.
