Aside from the first post which really serves the main purpose I don't see what the planet talk hurts. It may be a long time before we get a Moon Princess who wasn't one in the past.

Nah it's just that we tried this arguement awhile back when Pluto's status was in question....

....I'm more worried that it'll end up with a "We'll have to agree to disagree" after countless hours of bantering~<3

Maa, couldn't we go with the assumption that the Senshi are somehow "in charge" of whatever celestial body they've chosen and thus can still be "Princesses" of whatever moon they've chosen? Then again my "knowledge" of the inner workings of the Senshi ranks are rather limited...

It's really very easy. A senshi is a guardian of something. They get power from what they guard, and there are even senshi (little midgets) that guard said power. And, as far as I can tell, all senshi that guard habitable planets, which have governments, recognize them as princesses. At least in the solar system in question (which is suggested in both Sailor V and Sailor Moon); though Kakyuu was a princess of Kinmoku, so it may not be a coincidence.

And considering the condition of all the planets in the system right now it isn't even hard to theorize all the planetoids and moons of this system being able to be made habitable.

I believe we all agreed that when a forum member achieved the rank of Moon Senshi, a moon other than Luna could be chosen with which the member would be associated.

Technically, the same could be done for Asteroid Senshi - an asteroid could be chosen for that rank, from which the Senshi would draw assistants, sort of like the relationship of Phobos and Deimos to Sailor Mars in canon.

In the new scheme, Moon Princess specifically refers to Luna, and assumes that the person holding the rank has been adopted into the Lunar royal family. In the somewhat unlikely event that more than one person gets to Moon Queen, we may go to other star systems.

Well I have a bit to go before I can choose a moon. I am up in the air about it. There are so many moons in the Solar System, that it's hard to think of one. Anyone have any suggestions for when I reach that goal?

You could always look up the characters mythologies and or plays that have namesakes with the moons and see which one might be a close match to your character. Or just pick a name you like that isn't already used.

I hereby call Ganymede(Jupiter III) when I reach the mark of 1000.

When I reach 1000 posts, it will either be Saturn XXXV (Daphnis) or Saturn IV (Dione), not sure which yet

It's only what 20 away. But don't worry you may only have a little time before you hit 1000 but there's infinite time after you hit it to make up your mind on which moon.

Saturn has 40 some moons doesn't it?

Saturn has 53 actually.
Edit: Jupiter has 49, so just between those two worlds there are well over 100 moons to choose from
