Neko- has it. Wonderful anime by the way to those that haven't seen it. Wish it was longer as it feels like the real story is just starting by the end.

Tch. Too late. It's A Certain Magical Index. That's Komoe-sensei in her PJ's and you can make Index in the background. Scene's from the "healing magic ritual" to save Index from the slash that Kaori gave her across the back.
Was a good show but it suffered from too much exposition. Certain people termed it as "A Certain Magical Wall of Text" and I'd be inclined to agree with them.
Still, I enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to the spin-off, A Certain Scientific RailGun, with much glee.

I only know three old shows with little girl leads, off the top of my head: Candy Candy, Anne of Green Gables, and Heidi. Candy was blonde and Anne was a red-head. Only left Heidi
