The basic plot: Ranma and Akane are going to marry each other. This time willingly and the ceremony has already started when police/Japanese Spec Forces/etc. shows up and arrests Ranma on the basis of planning treason/something equally nasty. All this is a plot by Kuno and Ryoga to get rid of Ranma permanently, since direct violent assault has not worked so far. They have been aided behind the scenes by Sailor Pluto who does not want Ranma in the way when the rest of the Senshi are supposed to awaken. Ranma gets a life sentence in a maximum security prison and rots two decades in there before managing to escape, only to meet Happosai, who´s dying since he´s also been imprisoned in the same prison and has had no opportunity to leech female ki to continue his life.
Ranma inherits all of Happosai´s ill gotten gains like the Amazon artefacts, a huge hoard of "silky darlings" and very valuable collection of jewells, gold and so on. He also learns what has happened while he´s been imprisoned, like that his father has starved to death due to an accident when running away from people he swindled. Other things: Kasumi and Tofu got married, Nabiki left the dojo soon aferward and later got married/had an affair with Ryoga, who himself married first Akari and after her untimely death Kodachi (poor fool
)Ukyo was forced to remain legally as a man due to her father´s pigheadedness and due to her restaurant´s bankrupcy she ends up as Ranma´s "manservant". Shampoo and almost every other Chinese Amazon perished 5 years after Ranma was imprisoned in the "War of Jusenkyo" where Kuno aided the Musk/the Phoenix people/both in a crusade against the Amazons. Only known survivor is Shampoo´s daughter, sold to slavers by Kuno, who Ranma ends up rescuing.
Mamoru is Akane´s and Kuno´s son instead of being an orphan and is originally supposed to marry Haruka Tenoh, who is Nabiki´s daughter from her marriage with now deceased mr. Tenoh (cousin marriage, I know but stuff like this happens in some circles, especially if eccentrics like Kuno are involved). Of course neither of them is too happy about this and Haruka eventually runs away with Michiru and Mamoru gets two new headaches, Ranma, who´s trying to destroy his family for revenge against his father and Beryl who´s after him to get revenge against Sailor Moon.
Eventually Ranma´s plot of revenge gets mixed up in the Senshi business as he finds out about Pluto´s involvement in his life and at the same time has to fight the Dark Kindom, who are after his heart crystal.
I´ve modified Count of MC wikipedia relationship chart to correspond with the relationships in the fic idea. The blank bubbles are people from MC to whom I have not figured out casting from Ranma/SM cast or who will end up as OC´s or not used at all.
