Twisted Logic Ranma Fics

In chapter three of Duality by Innortal there are some interesting uses of Logic. I was wondering if there are any other fics out there that manipulate the NWC as creatively.

Between getting Shampoo to think that Moose and Ryouga are trying to get Ranma to marry them through Amazon law. The Kunos to think Akane and Genma are 'the true' Foul Sorcerers and what not I'd really like to see something more completed where the manipulations panned out.

Scattered around Ozzallos's fic 'The Best of Time's there are a few parts where Ranma uses twisted versions of logic or at least fast talking to have various members of the Nerima Wrecking Crew to make trouble for Setsuna/Sailor Pluto.

I wont go by chapter as there is a fair few instances through the fic such as convincing Kuno that Setsuna wants to date him or that Setsuna is a evil witch who is keeping Kodachi from her True Love (Ranma) etc. Is this what you mean?

Yep All places where Ranma or at least the character being focused on in the fic uses the way NWC characters think to personal advantage are fair game.

Just as long as you believe it was done in a fun way. Innortal's fic just has a massive concentration of that kind of thing at the end of that chapter.

I would prefer manipulations of Ranma though to be left out kinda like using the Crocodile Dundee fishing method in a grocers freezer. The fish is already caught so what's the point?

EDIT: Check out N Reynolds other stories, most have a smarter and manipulative Ranma. Such as 'An Overlooked World'.

Maybe it's just me, but I think that Ranma convincing T. Kuno that the pig-tailed goddess was an alien princess returned home (in Kenko's 'Paragon') qualifies.

The problem is that Té Rowan has been rezing alot of the threads in Fic Search.

Most of the time it's with a link, so it seems to be technically not forum necromancy, but it is rather obsessive.

I noticed... shrugs, I don't really mind, except in that it is a heck of a lot of them, and have not bothered reporting any of them to you guys... I just in this case figured it might not have even been noticed that this was a resurrected thread.

Ah, so there are never any new readers that might want to know? Or new applicable fics?

If you want to prevent necro, set the threads read-only after some time or remove them altogether.

It's not that people don't come along with an interest, it's that after say a few months the people who asked in a particular request has more than likely moved on in interests.
And people currently interested would tend to submit a new search. This is a Fic Search Request area not a catalog of fics sorted by topic, although some threads could be useful for that it won't ever be worthwhile keeping all of this up to date and trying to use it that way would lead to being complained at for new similar search requests and that spirals into dark places.

I do like the links and thanks for input but when it's half a year old here it's better to read through for your own interest with the thread topic instead of to contribute more to the old search.

Well, doing it for one or two, and providing it wasn't mentioned in the thread before, it may have been ok.
But you did it for like 30 topics...that's just beyond silly. IMO anyway.

I don't know, I quite liked it, brought up new fics that admittedly it turns out I was not really interested in, but certainly revived my looking for some fics. If someone is willing to spend the time and effort to add new fics to threads like that more power to 'em.
