Just to get a little further away from that I was looking at Addams family things. Cartoons Movies etc. Something kept coming to mind when they would talk about pranks pulled in childhood. All of it made Genma's Training of Ranma look Mild. Then look at Gomez and Tish. An eccentric fighter quite skilled in his art with a stately traditional woman for his wife.

So that had me wondering could it be possible to make a fic where Genma is an Addams?

They have allot of distant relations even just considering all the people they danced the Mamushka for.

The way this would work is since the Addams family name is far from being at risk Genma would have married into Nodoka's clan. And all the training really was just converting standard Addams kids pranks so that they provide the best possible Martial Arts training advantage.

So any chance?

I was thinking having it come to light after the failed wedding. Perhaps having a Vulture sitting on the rubble of the Dojo when Genma tosses Ranma out the window one morning soon after that event to begin a morning spar. And Nodoka going over to it to claim the message just as if it were a Harry Potter Delivery Owl.

That would lead to a revelation at breakfast that the only way Nodoka was able to keep the house while Genma was on his training trip was by reaching out to his relatives for support. And she was just then getting word back on assistance for rebuilding the Saotome home. Not only was a message sent but the head house of the Addams clan decided to come out with his family to see how bad the mess is while getting in a vacation in Tokyo.

If it's after the failed wedding fiasco, then it would have already been noted that the original house the Saotomes used to live in wasn't the one Nodoka was living in before THAT house got demolished by Ukyo and the others.

Um I guess I wasn't clear on the timing. I was planning for Nodoka to reveal that morning that given she never had a job and Genma running up bills the Saotome house would have been lost had she not gotten in touch with the Addams (Genma's relatives) for support. And the Vulture was only that morning bringing word to her in response to the destruction of the Saotome home over the suspected ring pill box.

The Vulture gets there after the failed wedding and the Addams Family are already on their way to town.

Does that help with the timing?

I'm more familiar with the anime than I am with the manga (and there's a reason why Vash would look so confused at his surroundings), but that's not important right now. Sorry I got back to the conversation so late.

Anyways, we know how Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarves turns out, and the identities of the dwarves in question. What we don't see on the screen, though, is where they originally came from. The fact that they grab more than a few drinks when they're away from the cottage is left out, too (I'm fairly certain, anyway); and, each in their own way, they're not ones to be underestimated. Shortly before the Queen discovers that Snow White is alive, some of Doc's compatriots come to call. One of them, oddly, is aflame...

I'm probably not going to escape unscathed for this, but... Snow White meets Dwarf Fortress.
