The day after the genin exams found two men in the rundown apartment of one of the prospective genin, Naruto Uzumaki.

“So why did you bring me here?” asked the younger of the two as he picked up a carton of expired milk.
Watching with some amusement as his younger companion began to compulsively clean the apartment, the older of the two replied, “I thought it’d be the best way for you to get to know the members of your new genin team before you meet them.”

The younger man froze. “My new genin team?” he asked as he turned to face the older man. “Wouldn’t Kakashi be a better choice considering one of ‘ems an Uchiha and another’s the Fourth’s...”

“He was my first choice,” the older man said, cutting off the younger, “but, according to the medic-nins, he’s going to be laid up in hospital for another week.”

Seeing the reproachful look that the older man shot him, the younger sheepishly began to scratch the back of his head only to stop himself when his fingers encounter the bandage on the back of his neck (a souvenier, along with unevenly cut hair, of a recent mission).

“If you hurry, you might even have enough time to get a haircut, Ranma.”

Just a scene (which might make for a good prologue for a Ranma/Naruto crossover) I came up with after rereading Golden Arms' Strangers in a Familiar Land. It didn't turn out exactly right and, to be honest, I don't have plans to write a fic around this scene so if anyone wants to use it be my guest

There are some instances of Drowned Washuu-chan already. Drowned Ryoko, as well. Possibly a Drowned Sasami, but I recall no Drowned Ayeka/Yosho/Tenchi.

And at least three Springs of Drowned Cabbit, none of which have gone anywhere, unfortunately.

It's sort of like strip poker, except instead of discarding clothing, they're discarding concealed weapons. The look on any observer's face after they've been at it for awhile should be interesting.

Omamori Himari/Rosario + Vampire:

Yuuto Arakawa accidentally ends up as a student at Youkai Academy. Acquiring a samurai catgirl bodyguard probably won't be considered that unusual by their standards, but he'd be in real trouble if the student body learns that he is expected to become a demon hunter. Not to mention Yuuto getting a point-blank viewing of monsters at their best and worst. Normally he only meets monsters after they try to kill him and he either escapes or Befriends (Though Himari does the beating up part for him) them.

Evangelion/Dredsden Files. There are fifteen additional Fallen Angels bound to silver coins that the church doesn't know about. Their names? Sachiel, Shamshel, Ramiel, Gaghiel, Israfel, Sandalphon, Matariel, Sahaquiel, Iruel, Leliel, Bardiel, Zeruel, Arael, Armisael, and Tabris.

Zelda: Spirit tracks/ Kamen Rider Den-O. From the very first Link, the Hero of Time, the mantle of defender of the timeline has been passed down through the Heroic line from generation to generation, though skipping a few here and there. Generally, the ones skipped are the ones who have to fight the great evils of the land, while the previous generation stays aboard. This time however, our hero is both the hero and the guardian. Together with an ethreal princess, can he save time from unravelling while simeltaniously reforging the shackles of an evil spirit?

Ranma and the gang (or Ranma replaces Squall and Ryoga replaces Seifer) are students at Balamb Garden, Ultimecia doesn't even begin to stand a chance, and there are plenty more girls in FF8 that would chase him.

Actually, that would be way more fun with just Ranma and Ryoga.

I know I posted this elsewhere, but Ranma-chan in Wonderland ala Miyuki-chan. Or really, any of the other characters, with Akane possibly being the funniest other person to subject to 90 minutes of lesbian advances. Really, you'd just need the character to follow the bunnygirl.

Sometime after the Winter War, a battered and short-handed Soul Society sends out a certain bell-wearing Shinigami captain to retrieve a soul of special importance from the mortal plane. Kenpachi is supposed to claim a twisted soul that would be destined for a stint in hell had she not suffered sufficiently in life to make up for her sins, something that hasn't happened in hundreds of years. Kenny isn't particularly happy about doing something that doesn't involve killing Hollows or sparring with Ichigo, but with old man Yama threatening to give him a desk job for the next few years if he doesn't do as he's told, Ken's off to Earth to pick up a single human soul.

...or at least, a nearly human soul. For on arrival at the spirit's location (a cliff outside some kind of research center), Kenny notes with some bemusement that this spiritual avatar has horns. And pink hair. And a mean streak a mile wide, along with a set of telekinetic arms that try to rip him apart as soon as he shows himself to her. They haven't even spoken and Kenny wants her in his division already.

Kenpachi Zaraki, meet Lucy the diclonius.
