SM+R: (Best written by someone experienced with Rescue) Be it post-canon or due to an acrimonious split, Usagi joins the JSDF and ends up captaining a rescue helicopter or 'plane. Ranma is a medic assigned to her unit. Ship or no, this could be a nice frame for real events.

Yeah, first thing that came to mind after reading that story idea was to use Lilith Aensland instead to replace Lilith in Eva. Don't know how it would work, but it'd probably be very amusing. Especially since she would partially compose Rei, which would make Rei both kinda horny and very mischevious.

I don't know, it could force Shinji out of his shell. Though, since Misato never managed that, I don't really know if anyone could since she's already pretty uninhibited.

Gendo deserves everything that anyone can think up to happen to him.

The real fun part would be seeing Rei interact with Asuka in a situation like that.

I think Misato's failures comes more from the age difference. Shinji clearly sees her as old and that makes all her attempts come across creepy. Rei on the other hand is in his peer group. She wouldn't have that major road block.

I suppose that could be true. I still think Asuka would be more likely to completely freak out since Lilith Aensland probably lacks and scruples about pursuing a female in the romantic sense, especially if she thought that they would react in an amusing manner.

I know I posted this elsewhere, but Ranma-chan in Wonderland ala Miyuki-chan. Or really, any of the other characters, with Akane possibly being the funniest other person to subject to 90 minutes of lesbian advances. Really, you'd just need the character to follow the bunnygirl.

It gets funnier when you consider that the Red Queen is voiced by Inoue Kikuko, who also does Kasumi (though she uses a rather different voice).

You know, I *never* made that connection and unfortunately, that gives me bad ideas for a Kasumi/Kodachi fic. Ewwwwwwww!

God I love Miyuki-chan, such a great and completely underused series.

Heck, I think Inoue Kikuko even voiced Morrigan Aensland, at one point (not in the games, though, but I'm not completely sure about that... they do seem to just re-use all of Morrigan's sound samples in every game, anyway...)

Then again, I think Kouichi Yamadera (Ryouga) DID voice Dan Hibiki in at least one of the Zero/Alpha games... ^_^;

As for the Lilith/Eva discussion a few posts back, that reminded me of an alt-universe idea I had a while back - Rei was the main character, in Shinji's place... but she was also something of a cosplay otaku, and her favorite character was Lilith. In fact, Misato initially picks her up from a cosplay event, and helps damage the expensive Lilith costume Rei hadn't had a chance to remove.
(tries to imagine if Rei would cause any eye-twitching with her constant references to Lilith... )

Other crossover ideas:

Ranma/Tenchi: Yes, there are a number of ideas where Ranma and Nodoka are descended from Yosho... but what if Nodoka's even higher in the chain than Yosho? What if... she's actually Azusa's mother? (Yes, I know one of the realities has, in fact, introduced Azusa's mother, but what's reality-altering to the Tenchi universe(s), anyway? ^_^;;; )
She'd grown tired of Juraiian politics, and had left, leaving Azusa to take charge, ending up on Earth (unaware of the events the world would play in the future). Like Yosho, she has made the world her home, and uses a disguise to make herself appear a different age than she actually is.

Harry Potter/Sailor Moon: For some reason, Harry's turned into a girl, with long, blond hair. It seems irreversible, and sometimes seems to cause instances of flightiness in the now-female Harry - but other than that, the storyline continues as usual... until a strange white cat finds her...

I have a better idea that would give a different relationship dynamic with Azusa. What if she's Azusa's Step mother and Azusa is the one who married into the house of Jurai? That would make a bit of sense with how we never see Azusa manifest any of the Powers of Jurai while just about everyone else in the family does. As to his mother being in the family just make her another Kamiki Seto Jurai adoption to make the marriages easier and more fun for her.

While still residing on Earth following the conclusion of the To-Love-Ru manga, Golden Darkness receives a contract from a shady individual to shadow one Negi Springfield, a strange Welsh boy teaching a class at a school in a neighboring town. Yami transfers into class 2-A to get as close to her target as possible (getting Sayo's seat due to someone finally noticing that she's been dead for a few decades; Sayo is not particularly happy about this), and promptly gets caught up in the craziness that follows Negi around wherever he goes.
