Ranma has a sister

Surprised there aren't more examples, as I've seen a number of these. At least two where Nodoka was unknowingly preganant when Ranma and Genma left, another where Ranma's sister was taken or something, and Nodoka had hoped 'Ranko' was her when she first came to the dojo in canon.

Of course as usual I can't remember any of em....

There's also plenty where the sibling gets born sometime post canon...

I think therein lies the problem. Most of us remember having read them, but for some reason these stories seem to be less noteworthy mentally it seems. Or perhaps more important, that aspect of them doesn't seem to stick mentally.

I recall a fic where a suicidal Ranma-chan is found under a bridge by Usagi and turns out to be her half brother/sister and reincarnated sister from the Silver Millennium but I can't think of the title right now.

Chaos Moon and its rewrite, Chaos Moon R.

I know I've seen the motif a lot of other places, but they evade me at present.

Friends and Family - A much older sister, and married to Soun.
Ranma's bewitching sister - A younger sister who's a witch. Kiki or Hogwarts?

Thanks for that one Rowan. I knew there was a fic with both Chaos and Moon in the title but once I remembered "Chaos in the Moon" it didn't occur to me that they both had relatively similar names.

I wish the rewrite was a bit more substantial. I'll admit a rewrite was a good idea as the pacing of the first story seemed a bit off to me but for 2 chapters I'm not sure I feel like bothering.

Well for me, I pretty much went through every fic on Rakhal's archive outside some crossovers I had no interest in and some dark fics. Combine that with a LOT of FF.net and who knows what else, it's just there's been SO many fics, that they often blend together. There's probably very few that really impacted me that don't ever seem to turn up in anyone else's lists when topics are brought up (except for a fic I remember very well but always forget the name. It's like "An Orchard in a...something....Way" I think).
