Why? Conan is a Death Note all by himself. If you want to see someone killed just invite him somewhere and you can be sure that someone there will die very soon.

I know detective Conan isn't Connan the Barbarian. But the idea still popped in there for the Death Note character to find himself in a time warp stuck in a time before there was easy access to paper just to see how things go. His clothes alone would probably get him taken as some kind of supernatural creature or wizard if it were the setting of the Schwarzenegger movies.

Detective Conan/Sailor Moon:

The master thief Kaitou Kid steals gems in search of a specific gem. A magical gem that only reveals its true nature when held up in moonlight. What does he want this gem for? He wants to destroy it, in order to spite his father's killers, who also want the gem and killed his father because he was also looking for it.

What if that gem is the Ginzuisho?

That was revealed in Magic Kaito (Which Conan, or rather, Shinichi Kudo, does have a cameo in). Kaito Kuroba (AKA Kaitou Kid)'s ultimate goal is to find a jewel known as Pandora, which has a gem inside of it that can only be seen under moonlight. The gem is allegedly the secret to eternal life. Kaito knows that his father's (The original Kaitou Kid) killers want it, so he wants it, so he can lure the killers into the open so they can be brought to justice, and so that he can destroy the gem.

I know Kaito's story (even though I haven't actually read Magic Kaito yet... watched the recent special, though ). What I was asking, is whether or not the idea fits more within Magic Kaito than it does Conan, or would the Conan characters (other than just Shinichi/Conan) come into play?

Sure, give me another reason to get around to reading the manga (Kaito). ^_^;

And on that subject, how about a Batman/Batman/Batman/Batman/Batman/etc crossover pitting all the Jokers from EVERY Bat continuity against each other?

Unless he is targeted first by the more homicidal Jokers the one from Batman the Animated Series would be the most likely one to survive. He knows how to avoid danger when needed. Caesar Romero (sp) would probably end up one of the first ones killed because he'd still be laughing about things where he is from and either a comic or later movie Joker would off him right then. Either Jack's Joker long barrel hand gun, Acid spray from silver age comics. Joy buzzer from Silver Age through 80's comics. There are just too many that would see him as an easy target and get rid of him right away.

I don't think any of the Comic ones will survive BTW I just think that they would get rid of him fast. Ow my head hurts.

Ranma/Nagasarete Airantou:

At some point after Ikuto's arrival, Ranma washes up on the island (as a girl, naturally). She quickly notices Ikuto's 'predicament,' and draws the conclusion that she cannot reveal to anyone (more or less) on the island that she's actually a boy.

Elsewhere, certain people (including Akane) try various schemes in the name of locating Ranma and bringing him back...

Alt: Akane is with Ranma. And who knows what her opinion will be of Ikuto?
