Were-critter Ranma fics.

I've seen lots of were-critter Ranma stories. Most of them either sucked or didn't last past a couple of chapters. There is a thread on Anime Addventure that had him become a were cheetah and champion of Bast, without the pesky thrall business, and with the ability to pass on his curse to anyone who he chooses. All of his fiancees get infected with some form of therianthropy whether he wants them to or not, though. that one had some really good chapters and went on for quite a few chapters, but since it is Addventures the writing quality varies from chapter to chapter.

Most of these I've looked at do have Ranma as a Lycanthrope. But I must admit I haven't looked at more than half of the list.

Ehhh... if you do not mind the occasional lemon and graphic content episode, there are several on the AA.

'Neo-Were-Cheetah' by The Demented Redhead was short, but I liked.

'Prejudice and Fear' by Multiple was long, but Ranma's level of intellegence seemed to vary based on whom wrote the episode. Not a uncommon issue with long AA stories.

The Black Paw is a good were-Ranma fic -- but only for some definitions of "good". Very uber-Ranma.

You are definitely right, most were-Ranma stories are far too short to be worth reading.

While it is mostly on the addventure, there was a story called "New Tomboy" I believe primarily by Phillip Weigel (I think it was on his website, though it has been an extremely long time and I might be mixing it up) that winds up with were-Ranma. It is a bit too crazy for me, but you could look into it.

I know I've seen others, but I'm stuck just thinking of addventure stories right now... apologies.
