Actually... I can tell you at least some businesses with human resources departments did *not* help the situation... not if the company I worked for at the time was any indicator...
I remember we made a couple tweaks to our product at the time (which actually was ok for Y2k as it had a quirky end date of 2025 or so), but I had contacted human resources 6 months before hand (June 1999) and they refused to respond about specific questions regarding certain systems... when I sent a follow up after about a month later (July 1999), I was taken into an office and basically told off about not needlessly harrassing human resources personnel... I was quite frankly flabbergasted as could hardly consider a total of 2 emails harrasment, and from that point on never sent followups to any human resources/payroll department.
All they would have had to do was say they were ok, or not.
In any case, that incident cemented my feelings that corporate human resources departments do not in fact work to the betterment of the employee, but merely as a shield to management.
As for cat boy stories... there was the Pokeboys spinoff Metromamine had. Where he actually went against the senshi.
Also... would not many Gold Digger stories count?
There is also the story "Little Angel Lost", where it has a male Ranko cat boy brought up by Kasumi to be Nabikis soul mate.
how about the story called "Lunocracy"?
