Maybe you contracted silliness.

They're not all that bad, though. Each story builds on the other, so it gets more interesting as things progress. Another nice thing is that the "filler" content is fairly modest, and sometimes ties in with the main storyline anyway.

Now, see, that would defeat the purpose. If I had links in the first page, why would I need to say anything updated? For that matter, people could bookmark the links in the post and not need to follow me, either.
