To each their own. I've had my "fun" trading for stuff already. I have the Porygon line covered, and I've been able to secure most of those that I can only get via trading by now... Electivire, Magmortar, Dusknoir and such. Doing anything more would just take extra time that I'm unwilling to spare; from here on out, I'm going to rock the evolution train.

Just Duchess, I believe. Grand Duchess isn't available until at some point after the game's beaten.

Oops I said Arch...sorry meant Grand. You have to beat all the trainer in the Chateau but that doesn't include the Gym Leaders, Elite Four, or Champion.

No worries. I didn't hear anything from your end and Makoto told me when he's tried chatting with you in the past it didn't work. Despite Makoto's warning I still wanted to try.

That's the weird thing. I checked my settings before posting this, and it said that the Game Chat was enabled.

Maybe my 2DS's mike isn't picking me up for some reason. I would've thought that it would pick up the sound of my headphones being plugged in, too, but I guess not.

Yeah. I said hello once or twice, said something else (probably about not wanting to wake my parents up, I can't recall), then scrambled to find my headphones and plug them in. The chat ended maybe... 5 or 6 seconds after I got them hooked up.

I'm sure I said something else, but it must not have picked up. I noticed when I was testing the mike that it's a bit picky about what it chooses to register.

Eh, sorry... I was trying to emulate one of the Mega Man Zero series' score screens. ;^_^

Anyway, I deducted points from my final score because when I was transferring Mons from my 5th Gen games, I had to go back a few days later because I'd missed one. Cost me unnecessary time.

Nintendo has announced that they'll be shutting down the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection on May 20:

This affects all DS games with online capability that use Nintendo's servers, including the Gen 4 and 5 Pokemon games (as well as the Ranger games, etc.) So, no more online trading or battling, or GTS.

And Mystery Gift - not that Nintendo has any plans for any further Mystery Gifts for the G4 and G5 games. It'd be great if they offered a Pokemon common to all the games, just as a way of apologizing for having to close down the service. :/
