True, except the four rings stand for the four companies that made up Auto Union, which later became Audi.

The Law of Jante (aka the Law of Absolute Conformance to Social Norms) has ten rules.

Only #1 is for real. ~"Don't think you're something [special]". "Du ska inte tro att du är nåt".

And while it has been severely misrepresented in the last decades, it has a very basic and simple message, don't put yourself above others. It's a warning against hubris and arrogance. It is meant as something positive, not the stupidly negative way it's taken as for the last few decades.

Those 10 rules things are based on Sandemose using it to parody the 10 commandments.

AFAICT, the jante-law as expressed is based on a village mentality. Incidentally, I lived for a long while in a village with 700 inhabitants.

Two RedreevGeorge images:

https://www.deviantart.com/redreevgeorge/art/Sailor-Venus-380817504
Older and a bit more worn.

https://www.deviantart.com/redreevgeorge/art/Sailor-Jupiter-396048204
Seriously frayed around the edges.

I mean it, I want to sailornap them and do right evil things to them, like force them to eat fresh food, take hot baths/showers and sleep in just-made-up beds. Meh. Batty can take up the slack.

Reminds me of a dogbertcarroll story, Hero System, in which it was revealed that 'Californian teenage male' gave you only slightly lower negative modifier against sexual situations than 'major horndog' did.
