Due to unexpected event, probably interference with Akasha (Akasha knows how) when Heaven's Feel was performed, Emilya's UBW( as in 'her own mini-dimension'. Like the woman that gave Lancer his Gae Bolg ended in ) was materiazed outside the normal flow of space and time and after her time on Earth ended, she appeared there, immortal and alone in this 'special room' connected to the Throne of Heroes.
But when Ilyasviel von Einzbern wished for the strongest Heroic spirit and someone she could call a friend, not a mere spirit copy of Emilya was summoned, but she managed to bend the bonds that tied her to her world and walk the world once again, at least until her existence on the Earth ended.

She decided to fight with all her heart because if she lost, she would be returned to her realm again and imprisoned there for God knows how long. -.-

Hm. I think I know how to make this idea about Emilya's past probable. I'll say Shiki did it! As I remember she had a link to Akasha and since Emilya lived with Toko, she could grant a wish to Sakura, like 'a world where Emilya won't have to experience death again.'

Otherwise, no progress was made with the story. This is sure depressing :(

Hm. here's Gilgamesh summoning.

Rin concentrated and jewels on her hand shattered, releasing the energy stored within as the girl said the last words.
“Come to me, my Servant!”

Magic symbol beneath her exploded in eerie crimson light and even lit the ground outside the house. At the peak of light’s intensity, Rin heard something crash through the roof into one of the rooms in Tosaka mansion.

She hurried there and opened the door to one of the storage rooms. Inside, in the moonlight that came from the hole in ceiling, she saw a young man clad in golden armor who sat amidst the wrecked furniture with a frown on his face.

When he saw her, he spoke but not the words she expected to hear.
“You are a lousy Master, aren’t you? To summon me in a such disrespectful way.”

Several feelings flashed on the Rin’s face, from awe, to shock and finally anger.
“Know you place Servant!” she said, lifting her hand with a red mark on it.

Her Servant looked at her with an expression that Tosaka usually used when people not worth her time tried to talk with her and said as he freed himself from the wreckage.

“You should consider yourself extremely lucky that you summoned me, strongest of all Servants. And that you are still alive after crushing me through the roof and trying to control me, instead of building a golden gateway and begging for my help.”

As she watched her Servant, Rin tried very hard to stop herself from using one of her Command Seals to make him obey her as a proper Servant should, but if he was really Gilgamesh, legendary King of Heroes, then his strength was worth enduring that speech.
She closed her eyes and slowly counted to ten before opening them and asking in a calm voice.

"What is your class, Servant?"

Gilgamesh looked at her, probably thinking of another speech or even an action, but nevertheless answered.
"I was summoned as Saber, but the limits of that Class system are nothing to me."

"I see." said Rin and carefully maintaining her calm tone, added.
"Then we are going to patrol the city tonight."
Her Servant lifted an eyebrow and said.
"Oh, know that I won't help if you are stupid enough to get yourself into trouble."

Any opinions on this 'relantionship'? :)

Since I already posted chapter 3 on fanfiction.net, I decided to post Lancer's Servant Status I'll be using for the rest of the fic. Maybe somebody will find any errors in it, like too high stats.

Master: Illyasviel von Einzbern

Alignment: Lawful Neutral

Noble Phantasm: N\A

Strength: D+
Endurance: D
Agility: B+
Mana:A
Luck: A

Battle Continuation: C
Eye of the Mind: B
Magic Resistance: C

Sex: Female
Height: 165 cm

Color:Copper
Talents: Tracing
Likes: Crafting, weapons
Dislikes: Magi Association

Emilya possesses a big Mana reserve due to the origin of her body and while originally she was physically weak, her life long dedication to weapons, along with reinforcement magic, managed to turn her into a lightning fast fighter.
As Lancer she has an ability to ignore most non-fatal wounds for a short time.
She miraculously survived two major cataclysms that happened in her hometown, so Luck can be considered to be on her side.
Her main talent is tracing and with it she’s able to create almost any weapon or, to much lesser extent, mechanical device she saw.

Noble Phantasms:

Ame-no-nuhoko. B

"Heavenly jeweled spear" is the name given to the naginata in Japanese mythology used to raise the primordial land-mass, Onōgoro-shima, from the sea.
Favorite weapon of Emilya, because its legend is tied to a miracle just like her body is.
When used, blade covers with drops of water that Emilya can shake off with precision and upon touching the ground, the drops will cause sharp stone pillars to burst from the ground.

Armor golem. C

Using her skill at tracing and the knowledge she got from Toko Aozaki, ‘the puppeteer’ as some call her, she creates a humanoid mechanical familiar that is an extension of her own being. It’s made from a metal she took from her memory. It’s stronger than steel and possesses an incredible reaction to magic that makes it very easy even for an unskilled mage to apply spells to it. A lesser variant of this familiar is a metallic bird used for scouting that is remotely controlled.

Reinforcement. C

A powerful enchantment placed on her body, compensates for her weak constitution by giving her much faster reflexes and movement. Later she started to overload the spell by forcing a big amount of energy in it, almost doubling her speed but she use that trick only for a brief period because the amount of Mana needed to keep the spell in the overloaded spell increases quickly. Also, the spell can’t be reused until all excess energy left it. Amount of damage she could deal in melee also benefited from increase in speed

Overloading a reinforcement spell is a bad idea. The whole reason reinforcement is successful is by 'not forcing it'. I read somewhere that reinforcement is the same as adding to something that is already perfect. If you fail, it's the same as injecting yourself with poison. Reinforcing the body in particular is said to be extremely difficult.

Reinforcement also works a bit differently then something such as ki enhancement. When you're using that magic, you are reinforcing a concept. Not the body directly.

When Archer applied reinforcement to his eyes, he reinforced the concept of sight. It's why he was capable of seeing tiny objects from an absurd amount of distance instead of having... extra tough eyes?

As for the relationship with Rin and Gilgamesh...

Meh. You have his character down, it's just that Gil irritates me on a profound level. I don't like him as a character and I don't like him as a villain.

*shrugs*

Hm. Then maybe briefly replacing a regular spell with a much more powerful version, instead of overloading it, is a better idea.

A question that is holding back my chapter 4. Maybe somebody here knows the answer.

What would've happened if Avalon was given to Sakura in the start of Heaven's Feel?

Maybe it'll help her to retain control over her actions when she turns into Shadow or maybe resist the change?

Also, would it make removing Zouken's familiar from her heart, without killing her, possible?
