Well seeing that this is completely derailed... I suggest that you might want to give Seamonkey 2.0.2 a shot. I keep seeing comments in allot of places how some features of various web sites just aren't working for people using Firefox 3. And most of them are complaining at the sites for their features not working. Features that appear to work fine for the other browser.

For now, but that's topic drift fur ye.

I personally swear by Firefox 3.6 as my general browser, but I use Flock 2.5 (FF30-based) for social sites. Checking the links with whatever IE you got with Win7 might work. Or not.

ObTopic:

Cloud Dreamer wrote/writes mainly f-Ranma.
glainfach has some f-Ranma as well, as does Mordae Durgul.

*coughs*

Just because you see the topic has been derailed doesn't mean you should jump in with your own new derailment.

(I'm using Firefox 3 on Vista, and have no problem.)

Yeah, I know of Cloud Dreamer, though I don' know if he's written anything new since my "vacation." I'm not familiar with the other two, so I'm going to give them a look-see, first. Thanks for mentioning them.

Latest thing from Cloud Dreamer I know of was an update on Princess of the Moon where he changed the Mau into Cabbits.

Does he do "Princess of the Moon?" I thought another author did that one...

Sorry Earth Princess. I'm still waking up and was reading Princess of the Moon before going to sleep last night. Reading it now too.

Cloud Dreamer did not do Princess of the Moon.

R-SM 'Princess of the Moon' by C Rose - [Dld Date=01/21/2007] - [Dld Size=1741kb] - [Dld Files=17] - [Status=Inactive]
R-SM 'Earth Princess' by Cloud-Dreamer - [Dld Date=11/10/2007] - [Dld Size=263kb] - [Dld Files=4] - [Status=Inactive]
EDIT1: Did not see the other post when making this one. Oh well, I gave links anyway, so leaving it.

EDIT2: A pity, I always wanted PotM continued, wanted to see a Ranma/Nabiki match out of that. Author seemed to loose interest after a bit.

Well, at least she didn't explicitly give a warning or something. ;p

Anyway, I'm still reading through the recommendations (of course!), and I just got to "A New Awakening." I swore that it reminded me of something when I first saw the name, and the mention of "fairy", but when I finally got around to looking at it... it was that one! I used to visit Dani Yanega's site to read it. The site looked so girly that I only went there when no one else was around (I was using a WebTV at the time). But it's been too long for me to remember if it had been finished at the time. I guess I'll give it another read, but after I read some more stories that I know I haven't read before.

Also: faeries are among my most favorite things, so Ranma + faery = awesome.

Unfortunately Dani Yanega died a few years ago and there will never be an update to the stories.
And that's the bottom line 'cause Dumbledork said so.

Which is very unfortunate. I think A New Awakening ranks in my top 10 favorite stories, at least the top 20. Aside from it and Windborne, I can't think of any other really good Ranma as a fairy stories out there.

Yeah, it's very unfortunate. Doubly so.

I've known about Windborne for a while, even before it was written, but it was during my "vacation" and I never got around to it. I might as well get around to it now, though, huh? ;p

Hrm...I guess I'm in the minority then I dislike that A New Awakening Story. But mentioning Ranma as a fairy fics reminded me of:

Alpha Drafts Chapter 2 by Shanami would be interesting if he wrote it...(Oh look you posted in the thread so write this fic :P).

And then there's always Featherbrites Tale by Metroanime which I'm sure you've probably heard of.

But then this isn't too on topic either...hrm.
