I think "sailor mum"? is on ff.net. I think I remember abdonning it because it wasn't really good.

Probably thinking of this: Coupled Union - Racing Hearts. (Coupled Union is a shrub of episodes based on the premise that Saotome Ranma, on arrival at the Tendo Dojo, is already married, and that the wife is either one of the Tendo girls or friends with them. Save for a few limish touches here and there, the whole thread is worksafe.)
