An overly picky Curse Order らんま search.

I know authors can do what they want and all. And simply "Curses Mix" isn't too hard to search for. But have any authors had a character fall into 2 springs while the character was still wet from the first one and made it so the First not the second spring (Like in Neko it was the second) but the First spring overrode the birth form while the second spring form became the water activated change?

I just find it odd that the first curse in Neko ended up being the one where all the effects from it could go away while the Cat part which came second stayed around on both forms. So Runners up can go the same way it did but any story should at least have an in story explanation for why any curse has a permanent effect on the birth form.

So yeah what I asked is confusing.

I'm looking for a fic where the character (It doesn't have to be Ranma but no an SI ones.) falls into 2 springs.

And ideally while the character is still wet from the first spring .

Where curses mix. And one of the curses because of the double dunk has an effect on the birth form. (First curse effecting birth form preferred.)

The only one I could think of that is close to this is: Cheaper by the Dozen by Pilgrim but that is sort of a spoof fic. But the curses do combine and it is explained rather well...

For the first curse changing both forms, that kid of goes counter to logic. That would also kind of go counter to Jusenkyo as we know it. After all, for this to occur, Jusenkyo would either have to be sentient or having forsight in that it would know the cursed person was about to hit a second pool so that the effect would be changed. Or that it could make the determination that the prior curse should be locked.

Would this fit? Two curses, the first becomes dominant, the 2nd rejected in an interesting way.

There was a scene inJim Baders Story of 'A Tale of Two Wallets' where Shampoo gets a second curse *much* later in story, but it is interfered with by Cologne and another. That only affects the cursed form, not the human one.

For other double curses in general, or mixing of curses, even temporary ones, several lemon stories come to mind. Including Master's Way on the AA, where Ranma mixes dog and girl curses and uses on Nabiki. That particular one has mental side effects but they mostly go away after beign undone.

Hmmm... thinking on this, one might come to mind... IIRC (It has been a long time since I read it) spring of drowned twin and drowned girl.

I know there's at least one fic out there where the person who got cursed again lost their birth form entirely something about being cursed while in curse form. It didn't make much sense and I can't remember the title but this is a search for that kind of nonsense.

Hopefully for the ones that do a better than average job explaining why things go against what makes sense.

Hmmm... could it have been Neko Senshi by TheGrum?

In that, Fey Ranma uses magic on a girl cursed Saotome Ranma to give the soul of the girl whom drowned a body, since he cannot give her her original she gets ranmas curesed form... I remember her being fearful of the springs rising against her for her escape, and Fey Ranma was visited by Death, warning that if she dies he cannot take her, and she would live forever in a rotting body unless it was made immortal

No the Curse does not alter the Birth form of Ranma in The Grum's fic. I used Neko as a refference because it did end up happening there in the latter half of the first chapter that I linked to.

And I know it happened more than just there. I just can't remember the names of the other stories or authors who have done something pathetic like that.

Hmmm... it may be pathetic, but I actually liked 'Neko'. Oh well.

I can think of a bunch of stories where Ranma loses his original body, and even one with Ryoga. Some even by magical curses. But sadly none of those were due to a 2nd Jusenkyo curse. Two have it where Jusenkyo 'fixed' him. and improved his body for helping the pools (returned karma, if you will).

Likewise, I can think of a bunch where there are a second curse, but not the loss of the body.

I can think of one where the curse propagated along magically linked individuals, but no bodies were lost in that either.

I can think of one where Jusenkyo locked him upon being destroyed (it sent out a energy wave and locked everyone on the planet that was cursed), but that also is not due to a 2nd curse.

Sorry, no others come to mind.

I can tell from your reactions you honestly don't know it. I'm still holding out hope some others might. Because there are some where Ranma's second curse made it so Ranma no longer had his birth form just the curse form and the new, mixed, curse form that now works with cold.
