If you post a picture or a link to a picture to give me an idea of what Zeon is , I'll see what I can do.

Here are a few possibles. The first type is the original design from the One Year War. The second is from the CGI series MS igLoo.

One Year War anime:

Lala Sun in her custom uniform. She wore nonstandard colors, but the overall cut is right.

Haman Khan and Mineva Zabi. Mineva is wearing a good example of the cut of a female uniform, although her rank markings are custom. The Zabi family all wore custom markings on their clothing to show they were special. I don't know if they represent any kind of real military rank.

Female lieutenant.

MS igLoo:

Captain, special operations.

Sorry it took so long.

Here's the Zeon Senshi

And as it's been a while, here is Senshi Ranma in an outfit based on an image I came across of Haruhi Suzumiya in a wizard/warrior fantasy gaming costume.

Nice. And it has been a while. Have you given any more thought to the full cast Soun's Lonely hearts club ensemble idea? With Soun as Sargent Pepper and all the characters who usually sing for the Christmas specials in different Pepper outfits? Possibly dressing the Panda up as one of the Meanies from Yellow Submarine?

I really like the second one. But I'm not sure Ranma could be talked into it. Oh sure it doesn't hamper her movement but she's so exposed. Tatewaki would be all over her dressed like that.

Yes I have, I just haven't had time to do it yet. - hopefully before the summer is gone.

Heh.
Mind you, Tatewaki would be all over quite a few of the senshi costumes Ranma's wearing in this thread.
As for being talked into it, she'd probably put it on of her own accord if she thought it was a means to an end.

As for Sailor Zeon, the two-tone color scheme doesn't work for me. The uniform was basically a military cut tunic dress with tights, so the top half and lower half were always the same color. So she should either have a red costume or a green one, but not both. Since you're adding bows to it, those can be whatever color you like. Also, the green should be a lighter olive green. If you want the collar to be dark green, that's fine. Or you can have a green tunic with a red collar, like this.

You did a pretty good job on the markings. My only suggestion there is that the trim on the skirt should either use the gold fringe design used on the red captain's tunic in the pictures I supplied. Or you can go with a design similar to the ones used on high-rank officer collars, like this one. (Note that if you have QuickTime installed, the busts on the right can be zoomed in and out, and rotated.) Here's a cosplay version of Giren Zabi's outfit that shows some collar details. The point is, they pretty much never had a straight length of trim that wasn't embellished somehow.

It looks like the main areas for contrasting colors are in decoration or mostly limited to cuffs collars and boots. Most people don't have cuffs that contrast but some do.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions, Larry.

Here is a revised version. the fringe on her skirt is drawn with the idea that it is backed by a card so it follows the line of the skirt rather than gravity.

Is there a good green shade somewhere between the previous image and this one? Because this shade is too yellow and I thought it was shaded yellow.

Agreed. The olive is a little too yellow. Other than that, it's coming together nicely. I really like the new insignia on her torso.

One last comment I should have mentioned last time. The boots should be taller, and the top should be higher in the back, angling down diagonally to a V-shape in the front.

The skirt looks much better like that, but the pattern would normally be equally spaced gold-red-gold-red areas. I think I threw you off when I used the word "fringe". Still, fringes are used in igLoo on naval shoulder boards, so there's some justification. As it is, it still looks pretty good and does a good job of making the edge of the skirt interesting.

Looking good. Sailor Zeon is a now a proper poster child for Contolism, and can preach the benefits of all humanity abandoning the Earth to be a huge nature preserve and living in space colonies.

After all, to be a proper Zeon soldier, one's uniform has to look like a fair bit of money was spent tailoring it. Not like those scruffy plebeians in the Federation armed forces!

Thanks for the comments Larry.

This next one is a little self indulgent.

Here's the Ranko-san insecticidal robot in the outfit that so bothered Rei in the second chapter of my Silicon Senshi, Sailor Ladybird
