If we consider opening themes - I like the theme for Maria-sama ga Miteru. And the opening sequence to Yume Tsukai is just plain pleasantly wierd. (If Sigmund Freud ever wrote the script for an anime, this would be the one.)

Verrry interesting. As a museum curator, I did a lot of restoration work. But not electronics. Transistors were the shiny new miracle when I learned electronics, and I don't want to go back there. Did much work on restoring 19th century items. And here is an absolutely wonderful BBC program detailing the restoration of Queen Victoria's favorite railway carriage. It's 45 fascinating minutes long.
