New Fiancées, New School

First this is a planned Ranma is a Sailor Senshi fic, but that comes much much later. So far later I have not planned where yet. But it is planned, he will be Sol Knight/Sailor Sol. (name up for changes)
Basic idea that drove this idea: Pick 6 girls who would drive Ranma up the wall with being less then great matches. Meaning the opposite of the ideal girl.
Below I have outlined the fiancees new and old, the engagment standing and how it happened. plus a general plot to get Ranma out of Nerima.
New Fiancées:
Nuku Nuku – Was arranged by Akiko prior to the family breakup. It was arranged more so that they can study combat styles and incorporate them into a battle android. However after Nuku Nuku cannon the family reunites under the agreement that Nuku Nuku will not be used as a weapon. She got adopted officially and the engagement came up unexpectedly when Nuku Nuku was transferred to Furinkan.
- She followed him to North High when he moved
- She is using a 16 year old form when she starts in Furinkan (Post well Nuku Nuku Cannon, based on the OVAs)
Michiru Kaioh – Her parents heard about Ranma and about Genma’s reputation. They actively sought them out and bribed Genma with enough money and supplies for his China trip. They wanted to ‘correct’ their estranged daughter.
- Her uncle is the president of North High so when Ranma was transferred there he told Michiru’s parents. Michiru went with the Transfer but so did Haruka, Hotaru goes to North Middle school now. Setsuna felt flat footed by this since her future self only laughed at her said not to worry and went back to the future when summoned.
- She is 17 when she transfers (Post Sailor Moon Cannon)
Motoko Aoyama – Arranged by her parents since they were from an old samurai family and they wanted to ensure a strong blood line using the Saotome family.
- After tracking rumors of Ranma being in Nerima her parents just missed him as he had left for North High a week earlier, however they found him at North High easily.
- was 16 when transferred to North High (dated just post Love Hina Again)
Maya Natsume – Saw her naked accidentally, thus by family law she must marry him. -- - This occurred during a trip to Furinkan for a Kendo Tournament. She was unable to identify him then but kept searching. Coincidence ended the search during a Kendo tournament at North High. She and the rest of the Juuken club transfer to North High. Each for their own reasons.
- After the events in Tenjou Tenge her, along with the other members of the juuken club’s records for that year were lost. She is still 17 but will be 18 by the end of the year
Haruhi Suzumiya – came about when her own desire for a “magical prince” to one day become her fiancée. This was part of the event 3 years ago.
- Exists only on paper and her parents have no idea what any Saotome looks like.
- currently 16 and in second year of High school
Ichigo Momomiya – Arranged by their grandparents. It defaulted to her since they only had a son and Genma had no siblings.
- Was transferred to Furinkan by her parents/grandparents when they heard Ranma was transferred there, when he transferred to North High she followed.
- is 16 (occurs 3 years post Anime). She still has her powers, but currently has little to no contact with the rest of the mew mews.
Old Fiancées:
Akane Tendo: Ryoga was adopted into the Saotome clan, the details of how and why were not told to anyone, however his family curse was lifted when it happened. However this lead to a problem, Since Ryoga was now Ranma’s brother when Akane was provoked by Nabiki into saying she didn’t want the engagement Ranma then suggested Ryoga to maintain Honor, and Akane accepted before She or Ryoga could think it through.
Ukyo Koji: Still engaged, but off on a Training trip with Konatsu. She will return to attempt to reclaim her Ranchan, much to Konatsu’s chargrin.
Shampoo: Mousse got lucky in a challenge match against Ranma for Shampoo’s hand and won. When Mousse also defeated Shampoo, granted he cheated to do so, Shampoo was forced to renounce the kiss of marriage to Ranma, but she still refused to marry Mousse. She heard Ryoga outside and decided to knock herself and lose to him. Ryoga never saw her coming, nor the suicidal head blow she used. Ryoga was left with a headache and an new Amazon wife.
Kodachi: Her father didn’t want Ranma as a son-in-law so he arranged a marriage with Mikido Sanzin’s parents for them to be wed.
General intro plot:
Ranma gets challenged by Mousse in an official challenge. There is an obscure amendment to the kiss of marriage law that allows him to challenge the value of the Kiss if the marriage is not consummated within a year. It has two points, first the challenge must be taken seriously; in other words Ranma cannot throw the match. The second point is that if the challenger wins against the outsider they challenge the tribe member; if they win the tribe member has to dissolve the kiss and has 24 hours to find another person who they can claim marriage with.
Before Mousse delivers the challenge, Ryoga receives a letter saying that because there was no contact with his parents and they have done nothing in contact with the government in the last 5 years they are declared legally dead. As such his home is inherited to him, but inheritance taxes are too much and he can not pay without selling his home. Ryoga tells Akane and Ranma but Nodoka over hears and offers to adopt him until he can get out on his own. It becomes decided that Nodoka will move in to the Hibiki home and pay for the tax out of the Saotome home’s insurance. That way he can keep his home and Nodoka gets another ‘manly son’
The next day Mousse delivers his challenge. He words it inadvertently so that only he and Cologne know what he means and she is not too happy. But she decides to do nothing as her interfering would be illegal and automatically annul the kiss of marriage. The fight was Normal length for a Ranma/Mousse fight, however Mousse used a couple underhanded tactics, but they weren’t against the rules. The first thing he did was place a noise making device on to Ranma so that when his glasses came off, as they inevitably would he could still find him. Second he saved a modified ‘fist of the white swan’ for when Ranma thinks him out of weapons. He filled this one with concrete. Mousse won the fight but just barely as he feinted moments after being declared the winner.
Ukyo was worried with this sudden event and after Ranma woke up she told him she was going on a training trip since she felt she was being left behind in terms of skill. She decides to go on a two week training trip during summer break which is coming up.
As summer break approaches Ranma is noticeably concerned over the loss to Mousse and over Ukyo’s sudden announcement. This prompts a fight and ultimately the engagement gets moved to Ryoga. Ryoga isn’t around as he is out visiting Akari and proposing to her. When he returns he is happy since she accepted and when he passes the Nekohanten he gets jumped by Shampoo who slams her head into his, he is stunned, physically and physiologically by this and doesn’t realize what is going on until Cologne tells him… later. Before shampoo wakes, and after he helped to subdue a rampaging Mousse he returns to the Tendo dojo. When he gets there he finds the engagement to Akane dumped on him. He feints from shock and after Ranma makes a smart ass remark Akane knocks him skyward. Ranma hears from Cologne what happened and laughs at the irony, he then gets home and is unable to bring himself to say what is so funny.
The next day Shampoo shows up looking for her Arien, she is slightly less cheerful, but nobody notices. Ranma falls over laughing and Ryoga comes running into the room to find out what is happening with the explosion. The short of the event was that kisses were made, curses were reveled and Ranma proved one can laugh and fly at the same time, just not fly under ones own power. But Ryoga did prove that pigs fly, and would be for some time to come.
With only two months left in the school term a new student joins his class, Nuku Nuku. She fits well in and reveals that Ranma is her fiancé.
Nodoka decides to have Ranma move to another area away from the mess his ‘manly’ brother is in and go to North High. He lives with an aunt on his mother’s side, she works nights and sleeps mornings so Ranma rarely sees her once he moves in.
His curse gets revealed accidentally when he is introducing himself by the homeroom teacher, he explains the curse and warns of any shower room incidents will result in bodily harm. Haruhi comes up to him the next day and tells him he is her fiancé, and he is joining the SOS Brigade. Within the next week the remaining fiancées show up.

Ok, Why is Ukyo still around? First it is not favoritism, there is simply no easy way to get rid of her without resorting to a Mary Sue event. So she will still be around, her arrival at North High wil be delayed by a month.
Setsuna, decided to 'set the time gate on record' i guess is the best way to put it, she won't try to stop anything, regardless how much she is asked, she will just bore them away with sancty of the time stream lecture.
Juuken club, most will not join the SOS brigade. Bob will be roped into it, as will Maya, for obvious reasons.
Haruka will fill the roll of Ryoga of constantly bugging Ranma, obviously it will be about Michiru
Both Ichigo and Nuku Nuku will have times where they 'go cat' not completely in the cat mindset, well all the time, but enough to keep Ranma edgy about them.
All of Ranma's fiancees, except Ukyo, will get drafted into the SOS brigade, except Ukyo which is refused for being too Normal, something Ukyo gets annoyed by. (being Normal was never something she was accused of being before)
Ichigo and Masaya had a breakup a year before, and with the recent discovery that she has a fiance he is upset at the fact he lost Ichigo. about two years ago the positions in the relationship were reversed and Masaya was the one with more interest in Ichigo then Ichigo had in Masaya, this is what lead up to the breakup. Masaya followed Ichigo to North High.
Makoto, Haruka, and Masaya spend alot of time bothering Ranma with any idea they can plot. Makoto joins this little team since back at Hinata-su she had allies, Haruka just wants Michiru to herself, and otherwise doesn't care. Masaya is in it of course to make Ranma look bad. Makoto knows that Haruka is a girl, but Masaya is to blinded by his obsession to notice and believes Haruka to be a guy.
Haruhi of course is completely oblivious as to what is going on around her beyond attempts to steal her fiancee. she gets Ranma-chan to be a second mascot at times but always has to find ways to get him to agree.
Kyron knows almost all of what is happening and helps Ranma to duck out of things or warns him from time to time, but when there is any risk of being caught by the fiancees he will stay well out of it, and Ranma knows this.
Mikuru is uninvolved in this change of events, she is just relieved that she has a friend in Ranma-chan that shares her pain that is being cute.
Yuki at first is uninterested in Ranma and events surronding him, but she enjoys watching him as much as she enjoys watching Haruhi. Its all in the chaos.
Itsuki dislikes Ranma slightly, not as a person but its the friction that bothers Haruhi that worries him. he fears that Ranma might do something to pudh Haruhi too far, but he also keeps Haruhi from being bord. This leads him to not interfere in Haruhi and Ranma's relationship very much.
Hotaru meets Ranma a few times starting off. she picks up from Haruka that Ranma is trying to take Michiru away from her, so she tells him on their first encounter, when nobody is listening, that she will "be very unhappy,' showing puppy dog eyes, 'if Michiru-mama is hurt, and if that happens,' her eyes glow for a moment and her face goes dark, and she makes a comment that Ranma would be hurt as well, then she goes back to her normal appearance and walks off leaving a confused Ranma.
Most of the fiancees are understanding that everyone is traped in this, however Haruhi, Ichigo, and Nuku Nuku are pressing their own claim fully, Maya is somewhat, as she wants it to appease honor, but not at the cost of happiness. Makoto and Michiru are more along for the ride, Makoto doesn't do much to press her claim, but Michiru has family pushing in her stead.

So any comments on this? I would put it in C&C section, but this is just Ideas sliped together and a vague intro plot, so I posted into Ideas.

and yes, Zaniness at first, but after the inital zaniness I need something to do, and that is undecided as yet.
I guess I will have to do some shuffling then, I need Mokoto to go to North High so I need to adjust when she goes and how old she is if I find I am wrong, but Motoko Aoyama was 15 at the start of Love Hina.

Hm, good call. If Ranma has any particular failing, it's that it doesn't go anywhere.
Seems like this is pretty heavily a ... uh, Haruhi Suzumiya no Yuutsu? crossover. (Basing this on the many names thrown out that she doesn't recognize) So you may be able to mix something in from that angle... Or maybe the SM side?
Wait a sec, how the heck are ya planning to make Ranma a Senshi in this situation? I mean... doesn't 'Senshi' go best with 'something major to fight'? What're your plans in that regard, if you don't mind spoiling us?

It comes back to Haruhi, she wanted a 'Magical Prince' and since magic, like all energy, follows the path of least resistance, Ranma will gain thoes powers that way, the only easer way involves massive poligmy, and I am not going that route.

Not sure where Ichigo Momomiya or Haruhi Suzumiya come from, but the rest seem like good ideas.
Why not take a leaf out of Ozzy's book, and use Makoto..... from Boku no Futasu no Tsubasa (My Two Wings). Her.... problem.... is perfect for a faiancee of a transexual martial artist.

as to him being a magical prince, three years ago she wanted to meet a magical prince and fall in love, but she wanted a delay on it so he would come when she didn't expect it. To sweep her off her feet as it were. Ranma was the target of the reality change since he has a fate that can be altered easily.
This would be around the time Ranma is 13, but between being run all over Japan and the Neko-ken the Moon cat advisor that would have been sent to him would have never gotten near him thus he never had his powers awoken yet.
Since Power atracts Power, tus Magic attracts Magic, this is why Jusenkyo happened, and he gained his girl form.
His Male senshi form is like Edimon's (sp) his Girl forms senshi form is like the rest of the senshi.
Fate guided Ranma to North High when it found him, and used Ryoga as a way to maintain the lines of chaos that his departure would leave.
as to Ichigo and Nuku Nuku and the Neko-ken... that is why I picked them.

Here are the series that the girls come from and a short description.
Nuku Nuku - {All Purpose Cultural Cat Girl Nuku Nuku}
Android girl with a cat brain, her enemies tend to throw heavy ordnance around in an attempt to distroy her or capture her.
Michiru Kaioh - {Sailor Moon}
No description needed here
Motoko Aoyama - {Love Hina}
Puting it bluntly she is a sword girl going to an all girl dorm, and the old lady running it abruptly left and had her grandson run it in her stead (It is believed the old bat is on par with fannon Nodoka in desire for desendants)
Maya Natsume - {Tenjou Tenge}
She is another 'sword girl' only is far more profcent. she can change from 17 year old to an 8 year old pretty much at will. The school makes furinkan look peaceful and to be honest even Akane and Ukyo would classify as non-combatants, or to rephrase each class has at minimum one fighter that, while may not be able to beat Ranma, would give him a work out. She leads a small club here called Juuken, it only has 5 definate members.
Haruhi Suzumiya - {The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya}
This summery doesn't do justice to the character or the series.
Haruhi has the power to alter reality, potentially she could whipe the universe clean and start anew, catch is she doesn't know she has these powers. She forms a club called the SOS Brigade, the members include Kyron: the normal one, Mikuru (a girl sent from the future): the cute one, Yuki (a data life form using a "humanoid interface"): the book worm (also the one not drafted by Haruhi), and Itsuki (who is an esper): the "mysterious transfer student"
Haruhi has no idea the mysterous powers surrounding her despite her own single minded desire to find Time travelers, Aliens, Espers, and etc...
Ichigo Momomiya - {Tokyo Mew Mew}
A girl who has the DNA of a near extinct cat species embedded into her, she can call it forth by transforming. She tends to act like a cat in many ways like napping in sunlight and she loves fish. when she gets excited her cat ears and tail pop out. If she gets extreamly anxious she fully transforms into a black kitten. She retains her mind, but to undo the transformation she needs to be kissed.

sorry, but I have certain rules I follow in my works:
No Ranma/male pairings
No Ranma/useto be male pairings (unless she is totally a girl in mind, not a guy traped in a girl's body)
and no hermaphidites
its an area that I am uncomfortable with.

After much thought and conimplation I had to decide to drop out Haruhi; I have two reasons, first it technically counts as alternate universe, second its unfinished in the process of translation. I don't have the full story that I can just look up and reference.
However Ranma doesn't get of that easy. I am looking for suggestions for a replacement. Here are the criteria:
1. Her cannon is not alternate universe, nor does it contradict the other anime picked directly (a small detail can be over looked or written around)
2. I need a non-combatant, or atleast she has no super powers that she knows of.
3. One that would assert her claim and not take no as an answer. Basically I am looking for an Akane Replacement, minus violence
4. She is not a hermaphidite, nor is she a guy traped in a girl's body...
5. Some link to cats is prefered (especially if she is the type to always have a cat somewhere near by) but not required.
6. Bonus points if she is unable to see any wierdness around her despite it always being there, Ranma or no Ranma. (i.e. Delusions of normalcy)

Hmmm, ideas.
Well, from Lunar Legend Tsukihime, you could have Arcueid Brunestud. While not posesing illusions of normalcy, she does have a naivety that is entertaining.
If you feel bothered to throw in some time travel plot, then Rosette Christopher from Chrno Crusade would rock.
Or, from Yumeria, you could use a (older, asume time passed) girl called Neneko. She is insistent, bossy, has no marital artist skills, has a cat compaionion, and seemed to take weirdness as normal- finding herself in a dreem world, fighting nightmares in skimpy clothing, she didnt realize that it was unusual. And she wanderes around, followed by her cat, chanting "so it is, so it is, so it so it is."
