Yeah I have been hearing good things about that series. I will probably be checking it out soon as well. Yeah Haruhi is good, but you may need to watch up to ep 3 in order for it to really sink in.

yeah, episode 1 is actually.. what.. 8? then 2 is 1 and 3 is 2 i think... 12 is the episode after 1 i believe...

oh yeah.. forgot to mention im also watchign the new Aa! Megami-sama series... sad to say that ive never really had a problem with bagpipes... but really dont like that opening ^^;;;

Haven't watched anything of Haruhi, but honestly speaking? If that jumps around a lot like that, I'm mildly tempted to just not watch it at all. Then again, I've heard pretty good things about it.....

Watched AirGear ep10-11, it's following the manga pretty well...but I just can't get into it like I can the manga... even though it's an Oh Great work..... and I absolutely love his work. The animation is great as always, the music is a good compliment, the storyline is decent...although a bit slow...
Might start watching Nishi no Yoki Majo, but I'm not sure...anyone watched this before and can give me an opinion about it? The same goes for Soul Link....

I finally bit the bullet and watched the first couple episodes of Makai Senki Disgaea.... Anyone who's ever played the game and loved it, will probably not like this particular anime. Despite keeping the VAs and I can't complain too much about the animation.... the storyline was bad. Well I suppose if one followed the game plot then it wouldn't be much of an anime... but c'mon I really thought they could come up with something better.... If you haven't played the game, you might enjoy the anime a bit more, perhaps find it funny if a bit childish at times.....

I just tried out the first episode of Powerpuff Girls Z, a Japanese remake of Powerpuff Girls.
That was last night. I'm only now getting around to writing about it because it took me this long to stop trying to gouge my eyes out.
The character names are the same, but that's about the only resemblance to the original this monstrosity has. Professor Neutronium has a son. They contact the girls (who haven't yet been identified one way or the other as his daughters) by a freaking puppy screaming out for them, which somehow causes fancy compacts they wear on the front of their belts to flash. The girls don't have their powers until they go through a henshin transformation sequence, using a combination of the aforementioned compacts and rings they put on. Their primary attacks are by means of weapons -- a yoyo (Blossom), mallet (Buttercup), and bubble-wand (Bubbles).
Even the bad guys got the treatment. Mojo-Jojo is the villian in the first episode, and they took away his dialog. Now he talks normally, simply adding "mojo" or "mojo-jojo" to the end of his sentences. The character designs are pretty poorly conceived too.
All in all, I was extremely disappointed with the show. It's one of the very few animated shows to transition to Japan where I'd say the American version is vastly superior. Rating: D-

I never was one for the PowerPuff girls... Not sure if I'd enjoy the Z version, of what I saw of it on yourtube.com.
Anyways... Watched the last bit of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, aswell as Elf Princess Rane today...

Rane seems to have suddenly become popular. Heh, lets see Haruhi was the last one I set up, should be acquiring Tokyo Mew Mew soon so I will be completing it by the end of the week. In the mean time I suppose it will be Comic Party Revolution that I am watching right now. Just about as good as the first so far.

I guess the last anime I watched was Coyote Ragtime Show ep 1, and Muteki Kanban Musume ep 1.
CRS is pretty good, reminds me of Hellsing's art for some reason... and I haven't watched enough for a good plot impression but I love the action and I love the animation.... Something about space bounties, 12 assassin andriod girls, and a criminal mastermind that was broken out of jail seems to draw me in......
MKM is odd.... sort of like all those weird gag animes like Nurse Witch Komogi-chan, and Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan.... it's about a poster girl working in a ramen shop...... and I really don't know what else there is to explain about it... cuz' it's so random and the characters are so violent... meh.... it's like Dai Mahou Touge...

Just finished High School Girls...... it's an okay school life comedy... but at times it was just a little contrived/lame... But Momoka is so hot~

Hehe Tokyo Mew Mew is pretty darn funny all things considered. Now then I am looking to watch through Burn Up W, I think it was. After that, I suppose it will be finishing up either Escaflowne or Rune Soldier.

Just picked up a new series/episode Binbou Shimai Monogatari...
it's a sad bittersweet story about two poor sisters.... sort of like a more depressing version of Ichigo Mashimaro would be how I'd describe it.....
